Why do you believe the PS3 will be ahead of the 360 by next year? According to Sony & Microsoft's financial reports, the 360 has outsold the PS3 worldwide for the first half of 2011, and the 360 is usually strongest in the second half of the year.
GTA IV is by far my favorite game of this console generation. The sheer amount of detail put into the game is astonishing. No game even comes close in that regard. It is one of the few games that is over 3 years old that I still go back and play very regularly. It is a technical marvel and a true masterpiece. 98 on Metacritic, dozens of GOTY awards, 20 million+ sales, and still the 5th most played game on Xbox LIVE... all well deserved.
Bring on the HD version of the 40 minute QuakeCon gameplay video already!
I assumed the people standing up and making X's with their arms were people AGAINST the Xbox 360, most likely PC fans. The X's were meant to signify disapproval.
I used to trust VGChartz, but I stopped when they undertracked the 360 by 200,000 units in North America alone for June. Outrageous!

I won't know how good all these games will be until I've played them, but from past experience and a little look at the history of their franchises, I'm guessing that these will be the 5 highest rated games of the rest of 2011:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
2. Gears of War 3
3. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
4. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
5. Forza Motorsport 4

You've just got to hand it to the guys at Rockstar. GTA IV's Liberty City is BY FAR the most meticulously detailed city in any open world game. The game's natural detail combined with this mod create these beautiful nearly-photorealistic images. Now you could stick a mod like this on another open world game like Saints Row, but it would still look like crap.
