I'm enjoying the game very much so far. I am really blown away by how beautiful this game is. It has got to be the best-looking open world game this gen. So many breathtaking vistas. Also, the framerate is silky smooth and never dips.
Are you implying that Xbox LIVE's tens of millions of paid subscribers are not happy? You would be quite mistaken to believe that.
Well, if you stopped reading publications that gave GTA IV a perfect score, then you must be short on game sites to visit. You can't go to IGN, GameSpot, Eurogamer, Edge, Game Informer, EGM, Kikizo, GameSpy, G4, Giant Bomb, 1UP, GamePro, VideoGamer, GameDaily, GamesTM, OXM UK, GamesRadar, GameShark, OPM, or OPM UK.
And if you don't visit sites that gave GTA IV a 9 or higher, then you only have maybe 3 gaming websites in the entire world you could visit.
Can't wait!!
"our exclusives outshine, outnumber, and out class all of xbox's. Don't like what I said? Prove me wrong."
---
"Outshine" and "outclass" suggest PS3 exclusives are of higher quality than 360 exclusives, but that is completely subjective and many would believe the 360's exclusives outclass the PS3's. You are definitely wrong with "outnumber" though. The Xbox 360 does have more exclusive titles than the PS...
Facebook is implemented into many games. Some allow you to upload photos from the game directly to your Facebook profile, such as Minecraft. You can also share any achievement you earn to your Facebook profile.
You are dealing with an outspoken minority here. I agree with you and so do the majority, otherwise GTA IV would not hold the title as the highest rated game this gen or remain near the top of the Xbox LIVE activity charts over four years after its release. And Rockstar is clearly taking a very similar approach with GTA V, as can be seen by the trailer and screenshots. They are pushing for the same insane level of detail and quality seen in GTA IV that no other open world game has come even r...
Now with Microsoft's official 360 numbers of 70 million units sold through September 30, 2012, we can see that VGChartz has the 360 undertracked by over 1 million units! But watch people continue to use their numbers as fact. Desperate times call for desperate measures!
Very exciting propositions for the future. I can't wait to see what Microsoft has in store!
Why would Microsoft be on the list? The only people who seem to think MS doesn't care about gamers are Sony fanboys who have never even owned an Xbox console. You rarely see actual 360 fans complaining because they are actually enjoying gaming, which is what gamers should be doing.
Wow! The Xbox 360 held about 50% console market share for yet another month. Very happy to see the brand continues to trounce the competition as it approaches its seventh birthday.
Unfortunately, it's true. Microsoft probably should have waited for their next console to introduce Kinect. I can't wait to see what amazing stuff they will be able to pull off with the additional processing power. Releasing for the Xbox 360 where it cannot perform to its full potential could have actually hurt Kinect a bit. Of course, financially it has still been massively successful for Microsoft (fastest-selling consumer electronics device of all time back in 2010) and I'm sur...
While I agree about detail, there is still no other open world game that comes even remotely close to the intricate level of detail seen in GTA IV's Liberty City. That is one of the things that keeps me coming back to the game all these years later, aside from the fact that there is no new GTA title to play, of course!
I will be really disappointed when Microsoft points go. I have earned thousands of free points already from using Bing Rewards. You can also find point cards on sales for less than their real value. Buying 4000 points for $39, for example, gives me $50 worth of content for $39. If you use real currency, you will then spend $50 for $50 worth of content. I don't care how you try to spin it, the point system gives me more for less than using actual currency would.
I learned not to judge next gen consoles before they are out after the tremendous decline from the PS2 to the PS3. Who could have ever imagined back in 2005 that the PS3 would end up in last place? Even hardcore Xbox fans would have thought the PS3 would take this gen just with the PlayStation brand name alone. So I will leave my judgment until all three next gen consoles are on the market. I'm not a blind fan of one company. I just go with (what I believe is) the best console. Last gen i...
I don't care what it's called as long as it gives me the same great gaming experiences as I have had with my Xbox 360 for the past 6 years.
Sony is just embarrassing these days.
Definitely! Just look at all the critically acclaimed Xbox LIVE Arcade titles this year! Fez, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Mark of the Ninja, Trials Evolution, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Spelunky, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition... This year has seen LIVE Arcade's best lineup to date. They are miles ahead of the competition!
I can honestly say that out of the small fraction of 360 games that ship on more than one disc, only once has disc swapping affected my experience. And that was with Dead Space 2 where having 2 discs actually ended up improving my experience! I was going for the achievement where you must complete the game on hard with only 3 saves. The disc swap counted as a free checkpoint!
As usual, the only people upset about having to swap discs are the people who don't even own an X...
The Game Informer article is said to be 18 pages long! You can be sure there will be SUBSTANTIAL information in there.
