@emperor, you might want to rethink how you defend pewdie pie. He called his fans idiots and you basically said, "no we're not! we're stupid!"

Personally, never been a fan, never will be a fan. He's just not entertaining to me.

@boba it is pretty catchy. "xbox four point O" just rolls right off the tongue. Plus it'd be their 4th console, so stars aligned and all that. Only draw back is the same reason why they avoid using sequential numbers when naming their consoles, can't have an Xbox 3 sitting next to a ps4, sends a bad message to casuals. Shame though, sounds awesome.

My 360 is still alive and well even though I barely play any games on it. I use it as a streaming device for Netflix hulu and such. Old consoles work out pretty well for cord cutters

@ Sparta, not a child of the 90's I assume. "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you!" old NBC(?) slogan.

@ the commentator:
"Chris, it is possible. It's simply a more powerful Xbox One.

•Scorpio has been talked about by MS as part of the Xbox One family of consoles, so it's not the Xbox Two.
•It's also kind of hard to call a system with nearly five times more processing power a .5 console, or an incremental upgrade. "

Not to be a douche, but I think you should look up the meaning of the word incremental. "it...

So the scorpio, based on the replies here, it's so powerful that I should consider it an xbox 4, so the quote of Phil saying no interest in xbox 1.5 doesn't apply. while another says it's too powerful to be considered a 1.5 but not powerful enough to be considered an xbox 2.
Ask yourselves, if it was Shu saying he had no interest in a PS4.5, then announced PS scorpio, would you have the same opinion? I'd wager not.

@andibandit: a game indeed doesn't have to be fun. I don't think anyone plays the last of us and thinks "this is fun!". amazing, sure, engrossing, absolutely. But fun? It's not Mario kart, not saints row. Some games try to tell a great story and don't prioritize you going "WEEEEEEEEE!"

Didn't Phil just a few months back say he had no plans for an Xbox 1.5?

I just want the last playstation, whether it be the PS5 or PS6 to be completely BC with all playstation titles. And since we all know that, unfortunately, all digital is coming and to the point where we're probably going to be streaming all the new games, have the last playstation do that as well.

Not being campaign co-op is a plus for me. I'd rather be paying attention and soaking in Joel holding a dying Sarah in his arms, or being told the truth behind "would you kindly" than being asked if I'm in the mood for pizza or Chinese. Co-op? give me a game that focuses on fun rather than telling a story.

I think the SJWs are reaching too far. Now they're starting to have the opposite effect. It's not about equality or fighting oppression anymore, now it's about everybody reshaping their thinking to fit inside the SJW approved box.
Sad, they started off fighting oppression of women and minorities and now they're the one oppressing creative expression.

No one game should unless money is no object to you. Personally I need to see 5 games that I want before I buy a system.

Co-op in story driven games? not for me. Much harder to get taken in by the characters and plot. Same reason I don't read books co-op. Nah, for co-op I'm more about racing games, fighting games, and the Mario's and Trine's of the world.

Yeah, I'm in the camp of not liking it. I see why others love, it, just not my thing, give me CDPR and the Bioware of old over Bethesda anyday.

I know, that's what I'm saying. He's falling right into that. It's fine if wrestling defines him for us, that's all most of us know him for. But He's letting it define him. I mean it's fine he gives an interview here or there and gives his opinion on this or that issue going on in the business. But this? He's complaining about a statistic on a video game and you can see how it genuinely bugs him.

I think it was because of too much touch screen integration. that and it was being given away with PS+ for so long, I doubt it sold as many copies as it could have.
