Then the third man should take note and do the same. Odd man out is never a good idea from a development standpoint.
Regardless of whether or not you're on board with the concept, if two systems had the same controller they'd be more likely to get the most development consideration because of identical design and simple porting (depending on architecture of course).
I knew that they wouldn't fix it, and it's not because they're assholes, I just don't think they can. Regardless, I don't think it was worth waiting around to see.
I don't think I'd be DONE, but it wouldn't be the same and would be extremely sad. Nintendo still completely understands how games should be made. They're a bit behind the curve in some aspects right now, but in my opinion they still put out the best titles in the industry.
possibly yes
Nintendo could definitely survive as a software developer, but I don't think it will come to that. People don't give them enough credit. Their games this gen haven't been to the visual quality level of some top tier developers (due to wii limitations), but they do and always have made beautiful games that have never once disappointed.
Nintendo's first party line up is probably the best out there due to how vast it is (this of course is arguable, but denying th...
It's one of the smarter lists I've read because it focusses on practicality instead of "how much crap can they cram into it."
With absolutely any hacking (or in this case probably phishing) attempt, there's no real need to avoid using a credit card in favour of point cards.
As long as it's a reputable company you're going to be covered for any theft that occurs from any of your information being taken from your bank, etc. As long as you're smart about where you hand out your CC information on the internet, it's one of the safest places you could put it.
I still h...
Well, it depends on the method of piracy. I know about five people that had their PS3s jailbroken and would borrow/rent and install games to the hard drive completely. It's pretty impractical to download PS3 games. Few people have blu-ray burners as well.
In the end I will say that if it were any other console it would have been worse (like the Wii), but pirating PS3 content is just so impractical it's not worth it.
It is my humble opinion that the author of the above article is not asking for the best things from the next generation Microsoft console.
I think most people agree that we don't want another hardware issue fiasco, and we'd like them to get into delivering more exclusive titles (be they third, or first party).
But asking for a free online component is something 99% of Xbox gamers do not (or should not) care about at this point. It will never happen, a...
There's practically no difference between the AEK and FAMAS, so why bitch about it? Because you suck? This is the same kind of thinking that destroyed the UMP (mind you that was ACTUALLY overpowered to begin with). Now the bloody thing shoots pellets, to a quite ridiculous degree.
No way EB is that generous.
Even though it's so played, I laugh super hard every time I see your picture in a post.
This is the first time I've heard of the issue and while it's kind of funny, I must say I have to give props for an inventive fix. There's another game out there with game breaking bugs, but I can't seem to remember the name of it... :D
Just joking Bethesda, but not really... thank god for multiple saves.
Just going back to the subject though... It's pretty much a minor miracle that all these voice actors have reunited after years to do the VOs for Arkham Asylum/City. They've said they love being a part of it because the project is great, but having Mark Hamill always talking about retiring the character and then this happens, you know, it just kind of spoils their fun when they are so professional about it and they aren't regarded at all during the only televised award show.
Did you see where they were sitting?! They had freakin hulk hogan front and center, but Mark Hamill and Co. were literally bleacher seats. Video games deserve a better award show. I did find it "better" than previous years, but the format is too jokey and crap. I'd prefer an oscar style format minus pretentiousness.
I used to think like this because everything would be so much simpler, but it will never happen. Nintendo has a lot of integrity and pride, and from what I've heard they'd rather go down with the ship before deploying their games for other platforms.
It's kind of sad really. Nintendo still has my favourite line up of exclusive games because they are truly wonderful. Yet, the Wii is the only console I didn't buy this generation.
Put it this way, if Nintendo was out of the console market, and say they didn't even make their titles for any other system, it would be a sad day. Nintendo's existence, in my opinion, is the only thing that keeps the magic in the games industry today.
Their biggest...
is implement/alter the system which decides which things to "forget" on the PS3 version (which I have).
A lot of people will disagree with this, understandably, as they maybe feel a measure like this isn't acceptable. But, if they have a way of tracking when you did a particular action (kill a guy, or whatever) they can hopefully come up with a relatively useful scheme for ditching these objects based on how long ago it was (or shorten it from what it already wa...
I thought the campaign was a highly satisfying, while obviously not perfect, conclusion. Although, apart from a few really fun maps, the multiplayer selection is horrendous and extremely confined in EVERY map. It becomes very obvious that the multiplayer maps were not done by the guy at IW that now works for Respawn.
His name is Alex Roycewicz (you may recognize the name from a soldier in CoD4). Made the greats like Overgrown, Vacant, Crash, Highrise, etc.
It hasn't totally worked out for them as of yet since they shifted focus a few years ago, but it seems a lot like they are attempting to secure exclusive titles based on the popularity of their own technology.
Kinect appears to be a dud for now (to me anyways), but if it had been a complete, blowout success, developers would make games for it no question (which would obviously be exclusive to the device).
If they're able to make a system popular enoug...
