NO probs mate, we each read things differently as we express things differently . .so yes, Can't say there's a story there myslef either. Just wanted to point out to others as well, that we do attempt to be as unbiased as possible. But in the end, a review is only ONE persons personal "Experience" of something they have done. Nothing more. It's not something anyone should base their life on
O never really look at review scores myself anyway, as I like different things i...
You'd think by my GamerTag I'd be ALL Xbox360 (funny that) But I also thought the storyline a tad weak and somewhat 'cheesy' - for want of a better word.
To those who bother to read, rather than simply post WITHOUT reading first. The site believes ALL games deserve their day, and because a reviewer has his or her opinion on a game, doesn't mean that EVERY person on a site has the same view. However - we support each other in having that view point.
We might all like ...
Actually, try READING some of the site clown.
We LOVE the MGS4 game. We covered the Sydney launch ( http://xboxoz360gamer.com/2... and reviewed the game and gave it a solid 9.9/10 . . http://xboxoz360gamer.com/...
I'm a bit like you mate, while I "liked" Gears 1, I wouldn't say I "loved it" . . So this one isn't doing anything for me atm.
Switching from Gears 2, then to Far Cry 2, then Back to Gears 2, there's a huge difference graphically and interactively with the two games. SO I suppose FC2 has spoilt me visually ?
Hmm, I'm a bit mixed on it myself . . . . jumping from a few different games into Gears 2 and then back, there's something just a little 'strange' about it, can't put my finger on it . .
Yep, agree with that one . .. I love Portal's latest iteration, very addictive indeed.
Actually, I'm rather drawn to COD5 myself. After viewing something like 14 videos the other night of it, it looks brilliant. With many previewers saying it has stopped them thinking that Treyrach are spoiling the franchise. They've been most impressed indeed.
Yes, I have mine right here, opened and eagerly wanting to drop it into the 360 . . . but, promised I wouldn't until later . . . bugger . . . making promises is a right pain in the butt . . . Plus the Red Hoodie will be worn tonight to the Midnight Launch at GAME™ - coolness extreme . . .
Not usually into many "arcade games" these days, but this one has me thinking I should investigate it further. Although, I might see if I can grab a free code . .. but still, 1200 MSP isn't that bad really .
Gold bars or not (certainly wish they were, they'd all be open by now), it still feels bloody heavy . . I really do wonder what is in them. Perhaps one of those COGs? but there's only around 1000 of them made, so it has to be some solid art book or something.
Errruumm do go away . . unless you have something sensible to say of course . . . try contributing sometime, you might like it and get the hang of it . .
there's ONE real COG hidden in Melbourne actually, and some at various EB stores as well. That's with the REAL COG's hunt through MS I mean, not ours.
You know HOW hard it is to sit here looking at 3 unopened copies of Gears Of War 2 . . and NOT want to open one - just to check it out - of course . . wouldn't want someone to get a dud copy now, would I . . . hmmmmm . . . Hits wrist . . . no . . . no leave them be . . .grrrrrrr.
Nice, clean, shiny sh=rink wrapped packs, and they are heavy as btw . . .a lot heavier than the Gears 1 CE's . . so I'm wondering what the hell is in them . . ?
No no - leave them be . . ....
We were lucky enough to be given these by MS's promotional arm in Australia - Pulse, so thanks guys, we really do appreciate it. They (Gears CE's) are sitting here nice and cossy waiting a new home, and the Hoodie and T look great. Shame we have to give them away . . . sazafrasa . . . ;-(
And NO< I haven't broken one open to play it . . . . I'd be a naughty boy if I did that heheheh . . . hmmmmmmmm thinks hard . . . nahhh I can wait - I think.
Anyhows, head over a...
The terrible thing is, each publisher relies on the magic "two week window" to get maximum out of their game upon release. SO when they are lumped in with several other major AAA titles, each one has to share that two week window, and customers don't get an even crack at trying them all out .. .Plus that also limits their return (Pub).
I'm betting that Gears 2 will NOT get the same return or take up as Gears 1 did. As it fronted at a time when there was very little in ...
Extra bubble never hurt mate heheheh but thanks anyway.
Agreed with both of you, it's a shame that the hype machine can ruin the chances of perfectly good games getting the proper exposure they deserve. There's many a great AAA title that has slipped in under the radar and not gotten its full amount of coverage, yet those that have had a huge amount of hype, "usually" (not always) end up being a bit hit-n-miss.
Look at Fracture . big huge hype and mehhh game . . . it didn't deliver on most of its promises at all . . . yet th...
In one of the vids the director being interviewed actually calls the zombie groups "hordes' funnily enough . . . . and the need to revive your team mates as well as keep their back is brilliant . you can't just go wandering off. Oh you can, but you won't last long. There's a vid at the bottom of the list of vids on the L4D Video page we have that shows what happens when that ocures.
There's almost NO WAY you can survive by yourself, you just get overwhelmed by the hordes of ...
We'll forget you said that mate (jk btw) . . but it is great to see the developers now finding ways of leveling the playing field with their titles appearing on both the PC and 360. It won't be too long before they are even, and able to play alongside each other much more than they are now. Which would be the ultimate in online gaming for all concerned.
L4D's MP is frantic, and with Valve behind it it should be well worth the effort in getting it.
Shame it's not com...
Try the Mirror's Edge demo and grab Left 4 Dead mate . .
