And what prey-tell do you mean by that 'exactly" . .be great if you wrote more than several words and make one accusation . .
The idea is to 'create a discussion about it. The questions are simple enough, that is of course you bothered to read the whole article and see the questions at the footing?
Please, by all means, have a say, but say "something" other that what you have, it makes no sense whatsoever.
At least the writer has taken the...
The loss of yet another great development studio. Sadly - not the last.
I thought I read that it doesn't have any issues online such as COD4 now does etc . . .
Any game is repeative by its nature . . .I think that word has become the scapegoat for 2008 .. . when iin fact, many gamers can't be bothered actually playing the game as designed. (not aimed at you mate) . . .Shooting ppl, repetitive, Jumppoing platforms, repetitive, flying through missions, repetitive, drive around the tracks, repetitive .. get the picture.
It HOW you do the things that matters more than WHAT the task is. How someone can call Far Cr2 "repetitive" so ...
They do need to re-think their release schedules . . as it will only get more chaotic in the future. We have a listing of almost 400 games that are "earmarked for 2009/2010 on just the 360 (many Multiplatform, I'm not saying they are only 360 - okay) . .But that's a BUCKET load of games, even if only half of those make the shelves in 2009, that's still a hell of a lot of games, which means even more get moved across to 2010 and duruing that time, many more will be announced, begun and fi...
Atari had several games pegged for December and so did Sega, while they (Atari) did release Jason and the Argonauts, they held back around 2-3 games . . . which is great, even The Argonauts will suffer because of it ans sales will be down below what they need to have it run a second time.
Which is basically the sad thing about the current situation. Great games will no longer be made, just trailer-trash to fill the bargain bins and sequels to be pushed out the door . .There's sev...
With regards to the game, I personally think this game is much more "intense" than Gears 2 . . .so it's not only me that thinks that it seems . .?
There's never a dull moment in this, and it's basically full on from the beginning to the end. You don't know right from left, Up from down, front to back . .And you MUST rely on your buddies, be they bots or real friends, as there's NO LONE WOLF in this game - at all.
The Zombies will take you aside and kill you...
Could the creator of the story on N4g please amend the heading, you have the wrong site name in the heading, and in fact, its not supposed to be there, as you've basically altered the heading that appears on the source site, which is a no no on N4g. SO if you could remove the XboxOZ360 please (that's my gamertag) that would be great, thanks.
Ahh Cheers for that, most appreciated. - enjoy the review.
Coming from a purchaser of almost every game last gen, and even in the first year and half of this-gen, I find it almost impossible to buy anywhere near as many games as before.
Not because they are dearer, they haven't risen in price overall for almost decade and half, but because there are simply WAY too many of them, and they are generally released within days of each other.
Making managing money and game purchases almost impossible. I'm a buyer-keeper type of gam...
And you can kick your Keflings across the screen and - get points for it hehehe. But you do have to put them to work, otherwise - if you leave them wandering around, they just - well - disappear.
Went back to give some a mining job . . phhooff they weren't there anymore, so had to get some more "love" to put into a house to get some more Keflings.
Micro-management.
It would be GREAT for a family to play with together, not to mention playing ...
That's probably closer to the point, or the person was simply racking up point on n4g . . . ?
Same here, but purists are bagging the game simply because it uses the publishers own engine that ran COD4, which will run COD6 and etc . . .
How else are game developers supposed to keep consisency if they use different engines for the SAME FRANCHISE . . . simple, They can't.
It's the same as if ppl complained that one game uses the Unreal Engine 3 and another FPS uses the same engine, therefore having very very similar aspects, but doesn't get slammed for doing so ...
Another game that I thought would be in there was Kingdom For Keflings . . .A new XBLA game that is brilliant, addictive and uses the new NXE Avatars for your character and anyone that comes online via multiplayer.
Actually, gamers have never had it SO great . .yet I'm constantly amazed as to the number of gamers that just complain there's no games around worth playing - pardon??!!
FOr heavens sake, be it PC, PS3, Wii or Xbox 360, there's a bucket load of games that will send anyone broke just trying to keep up with releases. I think many have become way too spoilt for choice. XBLA alone has a - well - endless number of great simple games and PSN has a huge amount available, not forgetting ...
Well unless you're a super big site and have played every game out, it would be hard or near impossible to recommend games on experience with regards to what shoould be in top 12.
I would have thought that COD WaW would have been in there, but as many have pointed out, while it is great, many see it as simply a COD4 copy. Which it isn't, but hey, ppl see things differently.
Yep, plenty of 16 - 17yr olds who'd love to chainsaw their parents in half (joking btw) . . Ths list shows games for all ages within the "family" / My "kid" is 32, and we still love playing games together . .
Glad you can see that we're NOT Xbot-Fanbois, but simply enjoy gaming . .
In my opinion, it's way better than Fable, that's for sure. The only problem is, I'll have to juggle Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 between each other. or, be a litle self indulgent, and have one in one 360, the other in the second 360, and siply switch between the two for a break .. .
heheh good one . . . I even found a mod for the PC game that allows - shhh - don't tell anyone - full nudity . . ohhh . .
Most certainly, they had a great deal invested in TimeSplitters 4 already, and it wouldn't have been that hard for them to focus on that as their primary goal, making HAZE a secondary one. Being that it (Haze) was a new IP, which traditionally have sketchy receptions at best these days.
By focusing on Timesplitters 4 (the concept art looks amazing if you check it out btw) knowing the reception it would get from old fans as well as new, they could have made a killing.
