The only thing I dislike about GRID is, that you can not 'save' replays, and that there is no photo feature available in the game.
Which in this day and age seems almost silly to the extreme. I do hope that Race Pro allows pics, it does have Replay Saves which is great, but I haven't noticed any Picture feature yet.
I love GRID, and it can get tiring at times when trying to get off the 'grid' (no pun intended) when you have a full field and it ends up full of smoke f...
There's a few PC centric sims coming to the consoles now . . . IL-2 Sturmovick: Birds of Prey ( http://oxcgn.com/xboxoz360-... is heading our way this year on console from a huge flight-sim developer . . .
Thing is, console gamers (generally speaking) seem to not have the patience or whatever to go at a sim for long periods. They require dedication and persistance...
I agree 110% mate, but there will be those console owners who will hate Race Pro, Forza and even GRID - even though it's more of an arcade racer than a sim. I'd place it in the semi-sim bracket myself as it can be rather grueling at times.
That said, many console racers want easy handling, speed, N2O (nitros), drags and Drifting . . .and have yet to grasps real sims. Real sims are not that worried about the track side visuals or the spectators waving their hands madly. Although i...
Forza 3 is a "definite release' in 2009, we have details on it real soon, and will be doing some local promotions with MS in Australia for Forza 3, so trust us on that one. They are in the works already. Expect it around the 3rd qtr of 2009 after some extensive promotions like last time.
Other than that, that's really all we can say on the matter, it is on the way and not that long off and it will arrive before GT5 which is proposed to arrive late December if all goes to pla...
We've just update the site and added a second page which you can access from the main article here, just slip down to just above the first video and grab the link to OXCGN's Race Pro Microsite ( http://oxcgn.com/xboxoz360-... Atari will be feeding us information to keep it up to date as well.

After having played it mate, it's not too bad actually, and when you're in-car, it looks great. I was playing it just last night actually, switching back and forth between Forza 2 and Race Pro to get a feel for them both. Having spent almost 200-300 hours in Forza 2 - check my Flick=r pages out on the site in the Forza pages . . .
The thing is, racing sims have never and never do "look' great compared to games made for photorealistic looks and cut down on the physics. It's a...
If you bother to check, the last 3 titles, all of which appeared on PS2 and other platforms all were on the same release schedule irrespective of platform, with Japan AlWAYS getting the first run, with Nt America next several months later, then Europe/PAL some months after that, without exception. Whether that be om the PS2/3 or whatever.
Read into it what you will, but the facts show they have ALWAYS delivered in this fashion, and it's not a Port that is HOLDING it up, simply th...
Depends on the style of racer you like.
For more arcade style where you don't give a hoit if you damage or hit walls at 200 and bounce of unscathed, then the PGR series and the other Burnout rubbish is fine. PGR 3 is the better or the two This-Gen games on the 360.
Seeing GT5 is not here yet, prob late in December if it arrives on time, then that will be a while off yet. But that would be the best bet for your PS3. GT5 Prolouge is not a full sim per-se', but a solid ...
Hopefully ppl will 'read' the article and the information before crying BS or foul . . . simply read it first then see the facts about FF's release dates over the last 7 years.
DOing these sort of things sure does sort out the men from the boys. Some who look fit and "big" actually tire much quicker than those with smaller more agile frames. My dad was a 36 yr man (in the Aust Army 36 yrs, retired a Major) and he's a thin as a rake, yet as fit as anything, even many years after retirement.
It was interesting to see trainees who were 'robust' at camps simply collapsing from exhaustion or unable to pull their own body weight up ropes or across ...
Actually there's probably many more ppl would love, slip over to the site and add it in the comments, and we may make another Most Wanted list if we get enough interest. Supply some links of info so we can chase it up as well, that would help heaps.
That would be an amazing game done now, as developers have learnt a great deal since that first came out, and even then it was excellent.
I just want Criterion to confirm Black 2 and Black 3. The game is based on a trilogy and will carry on from the first game very nicely. Plus the first game, even though on the 1st-gen Xbox, was better than many of the This-Gen games that came out initially.
Wow, such an intelligent comment (not), do you have them often, or was that one that just slip out . . .
Seriously mate, if you've got something to say, try writing it out rather than dumb stuff like that. sheezzes.
I think if you watch the video, it mentions which platforms, and seeing most major developers are taking it on, it will be for all major platforms, it's definitely for the consoles, and if that is the case, which it is, then PC is a certainty.
There's now an extensive Demonstration video on the site from NovInt about how the Falcon works for online FPS game, the games it is compatible with and the games it is currently being adapted for the Falcon. Well worth a look-see.
If it ever makes its way to Australia, I'll certainly get one, or if I can get one from an American friend and ship it over, or if a distributor in the US ships overseas, then I'll be there.
So if anyone knows of any distributors shipping overseas, please do let me know.
Links were provided in our article, we simply reported on the item being shown at CES . . .we always cite our sources - always. But thanks for the link anyhow.
You'd get a great feel for the game with this, as the actual physics of the character and the actions etc are outputted through The Falcon.
So if say one of the zombies jumps on you, your movements are slowed down, the gun is held and seized, as in RL, or if your shot etc, the gun reacts to the impacts etc.
Or in driving games, the feedback is run through the Falcon, I suppose with some gamers, any hinderance to their ability to shot or win is considered un-cool or ...
To those who complain that it looks odd or wouldn't fit in with a room, you're mo=issing the point. This is aimed at those who have the money and don't mind building a purpose built room just for that.
I have installed devices for customers who didn't think twice about having builder create a special room for their devices or 'devices'. Specially built room JUST for a piano, a Floatation tank complete with heated tiles and shower etc etc etc.

Re:
I hope this title sells well for the Simbin guys and for those of us who yearn for a realistic racing sim to get our teeth into on the console format. With companies like Simbin and 1C:Maddox who are renowned for their driving and flight simulations dipping their toes in the water with titles like RACE Pro and IL-2: Birds of Prey it could temp a lot more users to the various formats and broaden the choice for all.

I also hope it sells w...
