It's still in the mix, as is hydrophobia. The physics in Hydrophobia with the water even having current and wash effects should be interesting.
I do like the end of the WET video though, it's very Halle Berry in "Swordfish" where she's laying naked (well, semi naked) in the sun chair soaking up the heat . . . she got paid $20 million for that, $10 per boob.
I don't think Ruby gets that much though . . .
like all things you bake, the proof is in the final product.
It looks good, and it's great to see more female roles in games now. We have Ruvby in Wet, Faith in "Faith and a .45", Then there's the real world character in "Velvet Assassin", ANother in "Hydrophobia", and there's another that slips me at the moment.
The more the merrier I say, and I love the ariel style gameplay, so long as the mechanics work, it should be fun.
Yes, US and Eu get them at different time sadly . . . not sure of the time difference, I think it's almost a moth ???
Does someone know the difference at all between the two regions release dates...?
I was referring to the fact that it takes a good game to become a great game. No matter what the platform, contracts or whatever, if the GAME per-se is lousy, then it makes for a terrible game.
If the game is the best it can be, and is accepted by the gamers themselves, then that is what makes "a game great" . . it comes down to "what" makes the game great.
Sort of like if it's terrible,no one buys it, but if it's built right, then they will come ...
I hatethefact that so many studioe shave closed, with many more likely to in the near future.
I think those that have been "acquired" by larger well known studios or publishing companies will do well, thank god. And the thought of those majors squashing the smaller sites creativity is ill-informed.
EA are doing a much better job now that they did do before, especially now that the ex CEO of Bioware (John Riccitiello,) is running the show.
Just keep on working on it guys, there has to be a way to weed out the wheat from the chaff . . . as the farmers say.
More power to the n4g for even attempting this, but it HAS to be based on content, the integrity of the sites and the comments section getting out of control. NOT software, size of site, age of owner or the fact that it is a blog site.
Those should be of little relevance and the CONTENT and integrity of the sites need to be the guiding light. And hope...
WHile it isn't slated for the ps3 atm, it will be on there, it needs to be so the game can get to as many players as possible.
It's the GAME that makes a game, not the platform.
Oh god no . . . Warren Spector has a WORDPRESS - BLOG . . shame on him, shame.
He mustn't be very big in gaming now, especially if he uses that dumbarse wordpress rubbish, and has a blog . .
http://junctionpoint.wordpr...
and Platinum Games the artist behind Bayonetta have one as well - shame on you - shame . .
http://platinumgam...
Yes, and amazingly it's a WORDPRESS BLOG site . . . funny that . . .(dig at all the "all Wordpress Blog sites are rubbish...." etc, groups out there in N4g-land).
But on a serious note, the game will rock, and they have a lot more up their collective sleeve, not just for this one, or Mass Effect 3, the game is aimed at being an ongoing concern . . .and it does have the legs for it as well. So top marks Bioware.
It's a shame, the game showed great promise. I only hope the developers Atomic Games can find a willing publisher . .
Many a game has lost its publisher in the past then found others willing to go that extra mile. There's bound to be others willing to take the game on that have the backbone for it to be made.
I've also noticed that none of you naysers have even ventured into the official thread ( http://forums.n4g.com/tm.as... on the matter, and seen what is being "discussed" at all . . . ??? - No - didn't think so!
You're off on a tangent, doing EXACTLY what the thread is discusing, STOPPING this sort of dumb-arsed stuff from happening. If you are so adamant that you are RIGHT...
Which is why 80% or more of he articles that reach high temps are not discussing the actual article, but based on the huge war that is going on with several pages of insults flowing back and forth.
Everyone has forgotten, m=or most likely, never even read the article in question, and they fight amongst themsleves over the size of the you-know-whats and see who can pee highest on the wall behind the school toilet block.
The issue lays with rooting out the flamboys ...
Correct, and bubbles to you mate!!
When will SOME ppl learn that a BLOG is not a bad thing. Blogs are no longer the daily diaries of mums-n-dads around the world telling everyone about their daily exploits.
Blog make up 80% or more of the major gaming sites on the net, some of which have grown SO LARGE, that most do not even realise they are in fact blogs.
It's NOT about the fact it's a BLOG per-se. It is about how it is delivered, and MANY many normal sites written with other software are 100 time wo...
Agreed 110%
So they should be vetted on their content, not the software they use, their size, how old an owner is, or if they are simply starting out fresh.
It should always be based on the content, irrespective of what it is discussing, so long as it is not derogatory to anyone, any other platform. Sensible discussion can exist on these matter providing it is delivered in the correct manner.
A site should not be penalised based on the fact it has decide...
At that my friend is the EXACT reason the filter needs to NOT be based on software or the AGE of an editor/owner.
WORDPRESS is NOT the right hand of Satan as so many seem to believe. And THIS is the exact reason any site, irrespective of the software one choses to use needs to be analysed on its CONTENT . . .
So many ppl believe Wordpress site is a dumb, stupid site because it happens to use the worlds LARGEST blogging software i the world, and, that secondly, it's a...
You have to admit, that zombies in games are fun . . but, the definition of one is somewhat obscure really.
The walking dead would classify as zombies, but those in infected with a virus would not be, as they are not dead per-se.
Plus in Vodo the term relates to those who are not actually dead, but taken over by "something" un-human . . hmmm.
Either way, dead, or alive, some games without zombies would be boring. Then again, sticking zombies in...
This site often amazes me most of the time. How can anyone "disagree" with the post 2.3 . . all it is saying that the OzHahou team used 360 controllers while playing the SFIV Media Tournament, along with pics to show, and ppl 'disagree' . . . now that is just dumb . . .
Well that's not to say they won't run one for the PS3, but they can only do one platform - at a time . . now can't they . . . give them a break, they are spending up HUGE amounts on gamers just to get them involved in the game, much more than other publishers would be doing POST release.
Well what can I say . . Actually, I'm sick to death of it all, not only in games, but also on XboxLIVE and other mediums. Sure, swearing has been around since gods-knows-when. However, it's not been such a huge thing as it is now, where children grow up thinking it's a normal part of everyday language, which it IS NOT.
If developers make great games, they do not have to rely on the swearing that seems to fill them these days. The gameplay and mechanics should make the game shine....
