One thing we pride our self on is that we do honour our commitments. We all sign agreements with various publishers, developers and outlets stating we will NOT break embargos, drop secret info or IP just to get rankings or readers.

Even discussing the whole thing brings out the fanboy in ppl even more. We see nothing wrong in supporting one platform, yet also discussing in a civil manner, games on other platforms - without rubbishing them in the process.

All platform...

See, yet another . . did you "actually READ it"?

No anonymity, no gamertag hiding their real names. All real names and real comments which you obviously did not READ.

This is the exact same thing we are talking about. Commenting on articles without even taking the time, and effort to even check them out first, before sticking your great foot in your mouth.

Names and details are supplied . . .

Bubbles to you FerretWithASpork , it matters not what platform you like or support. If you're a"gamer" it's of little consequence really. You have simply chosen one over the others, for whatever reasons, but you (a real gamer) loves games per-se . . .

We (OXCGN) prides itself on being flexible and open enough to see games as how they were meant too be seen. A hobby and something to enjoy ans share. OXCGN was even told by one MAJOR game ranking site that if we wanted to...

I agree. One of our affiliates, a site that regularly posts in here had some terrible fanboyism the other week. with one claiming a certain car game was - "better than real life because it had more polygons" - are you serious . he was, and no amount of explaining could change his mind that a game is just that, and real life is - well - real life and NOTHING can match that - period.

That was just one comment, let along the countless other that shot the writer down for ev...

We get labeled as a fanboy site simply because we chose to concentrate on one platform. But those that do call us that seem to miss thefact we play both Sony and Xbox games as well as PC, Wii, PSP and even DS games.

We write game impressions of those games from other platforms because we like Gaming", not because we want to rubbish the other platform. We now get invited to other console events because of that.

Yet that does not deter the ardent fanboy who simp...

Through his work in dissecting the dead, that the church shunned him for and forced him out of Paris I think ?? (someone correct me please if that's wrong) he discovered how the heart valve worked, and basically designed the first ARTIFICIAL HEART valve . . back in the 14th century . .!!!

This man was pure genius without question.

SO using his drawings, plans and work to tie it into the story of the Assassin's over the years makes perfect sense. It was always very c...

While we know he will be able to swim, there's no sign of that in this little snippet we've been given today. The wings indicate that he may have some flying abilities, more lik soaring or something rather than actually flying . .

You can see the drawings show how the daggar is incorporated into the muscle and the wings into the upper shoulder blades. This would fall inline with the articulated elbows. As that is one limitation he found with humans and flight.

Thei...

You can see the correlation of his drawings and the Assassin's left arm and how it has been designed into the muscle reactions.

Even the elbow joint has been altered to allow easier movement beyond what would be normal.

SOme of the writings are also very suggestive as to what else could be involved in the game . .

Da Vinci was excommunicated from the church for his work on the human body. He would get bodies from the morgue or from gravediggers to dissec...

Graphics are NOT the be-all-end-all of gaming . . look at some of the titles on both PSN and XBLA . .terrible looking games, but played for hours on end simply because of the - gameplay . . . which leads to the "funfactor" .. something a game needs to be a good game.

It can look like the next AAA Block buster movie visually, but play like crap . . . big deal.

In order to have things happen in consoles, no matter which one it is, corners must be cut. It's di...

So you have played the demo then?

Because if you haven't, and it is only available via Pre order as of 4-4-09 (yesterday) and NOT available from XboxLIVE until 23rd April . . then how can you judge it at all simply based on what others are saying based on what others are say, all of whom have not played it - yet.

We were lucky enough to play it a few weeks ago (BETA code which BTW was different to this final demo code. We were made fully aware of that when we got our...

Couldn't agree more mate.

We were given BOTH games to review (demos) as we have BOTH consoles at our disposal. We think both consoles are great yet simply chose one over the other due to 'personal preferences' . . So developers/publishers know we won't bag a title of theirs if its on theother platform - simply because it is.

Fanboys are the scurge of the gaming fraternity, no matter what side of the fence they reside on. We do not tolerate them on OXCGN, and any comm...

Some of the BEST destruction was done in BLACK by Criterion on the Last Gen Xbox. A game well ahead of anything offered after it or before. You could shoot a window off in the distance, and if you hit it in the corner, the glass would shatter diagonally, in the center and it would blow inwards. Shoot a guy behind the door, he died . . dah, but whack in COD2-3 and try the same thing, no luck.

The next iteration of Black: Second Mission will ideally be out this year, and if the pre...

I disliked Fracture no end, and was sceptiucal of this, especially after the kuffufl over ppl saying the game would not fit on a DVD9 or that the 360 would never be able to play the game.

I thought it would be cut to pieces. But we have played BOTH the PS3 and the Xbox 360 demos, and they are both the same, and the games is excellent.

It's not just wandering around aimlessly smashing stuff up. You have roles to plays, tasks to complete, you'll lose points if you inju...

Personally I think way too many gamers do not give any games a decent amount of time to enjoy. They get bored way too fast, their attention span is simply too short and no matter what a developer does to satisfy them, it will never be enough or right.

SImply enjoy the game (any game) for what it offers, fun, variety and simple gaming enjoyment.

When we went to THQ's Resident Evil 5 day, they had Red Faction: Guerilla there on two other screens . .I spent most of my time on those two screens than RE5 . . .

This game will surprise many with regards to what the style and level of destruction there is in the game, and the sheer fun it has.

What is wrong with some of you guys . . ?

The article is simply "asking" the idea that wouldn't it be great IF the platform, which has the largest userbase outside PC's for online service, include these great titles and more.

Plus JRPG's DO sell well on the 360, especially in Japan and asia, and have a solid following in the west, as "Elven6 " so rightly points out.

If some of you took off your one-eye-blinkers for a few moments, and ...

Never been keen on JRPG's, but after digging up links for this it had me reading more info on them. Has opened my eyes a little more than before, and might just give one a go soon.

It would be great if XBLA did get these games, only time will tell. Hopefully games like this will see the light of day on the platform - eventually

well yes, fair enough . . I hate Fight Night and the wrestling games, but this certainly had me in . . So I'm hoping they send 2 copies to review when it's ready . . .

It's certainly NOT wrestling mate, you need to take a look at the video . . .all of it . . .not much "wrestling" in there as 80% or more is martial arts and boxing

No more tanks available now - for the moment that is . . they are undergoing a huge rebuild . . . So stay tuned to OXCGN for some exclusive news on that front though . . .
