Love this game, shame there's not enough hours in the day to playthis, and all the other games.

This lot of cars in the DLC #2 sure is a treat. And there's no use complaining, as the guys at Turn 10 can only produce so much for each DLC.

So we miss out on some cars now, but no doubt will pick them up in the next and following DLC's.

Youshould, it is also avail via Xbox Originals off XboxLive now, so if you have the spacxe on your HDD, then grab it. If not, then you should be able to find a copy at any decent supplier of first-gen games.

The game had a huge interactive and destructible environment, even better than many (if not all) the first two generation of games released on the 360.

Snipping from LONG distances would create actual damage on anything you hit. Hit a window in the top right corn...

If you do a google for Mp3 Game soundtracks, you'll find several sites selling albums (legal) with full soundtracks. I came across a huge number while searching for images for this article.

Many were very cheap actually, I even thought about getting some myself.

One of the best soundtracks I've personally heard, and enjoyed is the one used in the Xbox game, BLACK.

It is very mood orientated, and changes according to what is happening within the game, not just a series of scores to playe in loop for a segment. Many are extremely long and often have the ability to do that "goosebump' thing that good pieces can do.

It was performed by the NY Philharmonic Orchestra and that's a buck load of money to spend right when the har...

Great article, but I bet some will slant it one way.

Now why would anyone (meaning console owners) think that it's an exclusive . . . . And how can YOU state that either will be better than the other, when YOU have not even SEEN any code whatsoever for yourself, let alone spoke with the developers.

I just love the logic of some of the 'so-called-gamers' in here, they obviously don't have any.

Enemy Crab, you're right, it's not a PS3 item, sometime someone ads a section because they are not "sure" rather than leaving it out, and a mod can then remove the catergory if they see fit.

You can't blame someone for simply trying to include everyone in the information.

Plus many ppl that own a PS3 also own a 360 and vis-versa . .

But yes, it is ONLY a PC/360 title, there is no PS3 version planned.

Whereas with La Noire, there w...

Which is true of most things really, especially when it is something that used more as a group activity, other than the fitness section.

Which is absolutely HUGE, and the numbers attracted to the Wii for that alone is just mind boggling.

Natal especially will open that upp for many developers, and allow them to create unique game (as such) for the sport and fitness minded ppl out there that would never ever even contemplate aquiring a gaming console.

With MS and PS now focusing their attentions primarily on the Family Unit as such, we'll see a decided slip from the attention they have given games per-se in the past.

Gamers as such are a limited market, yet the social media aspects, ie, the family unit is so huge and broad, they would be foolish to stay focused just one gaming as they have done in the past.

Welcome Natal and other such features. The main punch of Natal is the family, and has more to do with daily ...

I've noticed many movies going down that route of late, which is great. Using the original language, having subtitles, and then english where needed. Makes for the entire movie/game experience being more authentic.

Some do it for a little while, then it slips into full english, no subtitles, which sort of breaks the mode.

I noticed that in Metro 2033, many of the art changed to reflect english after a few moments. Which was fine.

But the amount of rubbis...

2010 is shaping up to be a steller year, and with games like this, it's certainly looking like it. It's great to also see a developer honouring their own heritage and using their own voice overs for characters, rather than going the "English/American" route.

Plus it's nice being right every now and then re a game . . .

Definitely agree with you there on all counts mate.

The ONLY step outside that mistake ridden past was the guys that 'pushed' Bill Gates and Robbie Back into going with the Xbox platform over WebTV which was fighting the small group of Xbox guys for the rights to move forward with their plans.

Bill and co signed off on the Xbox, and side stepped the WebTV plans.

Due to the guys like Ed Fries etc, Xbox became what the developers needed, but since their de...

I believe Phil sold off his share in Atari mate, could be wrong, but read something about it later last year??

We will be seeing much less major games being pushed by the major 3 players, Sony, Niffty and MS) and the 3rd party publishers will be taking the lead on the game front.

The big three will direct the social media network across the board, this is one reason MS have dropped the Zune as a hardware only device, and turned it into a "social medium with a de...

It's not aimed at just games, it's aimed at all forms of interactivty on the set and withing the whole social media range.

The simpler they make it, the easier it is to get the general public interested and using any service they have.

Most have an aversion of using a hand-held device, so Natal is the ideal tool for that. Remembering that games as such will be come 'second' fiddle to the social aspects on all platforms in the coming years, and that's ALL platforms.

Plus the push for the device to become a social media device, rather than a gaming device, is certainly going to stretch the friendship of many gamers.

But you only have to see the stats of the social aspects of the New XboxLive and see that they are actually rigt.

Non-gamers support the network more than gamers, funny that.

Not everyone thinks the same way around how games play, or how they are experienced. I personally found the the game engaging, fun and i've enjoyed it so far.

Mostly they have very little choice, as the aim is to release games during "known purchasing periods", not periods where the punters generally do not buy. So they are funneled into certain periods during the year, with the main aim of securing the best possible public attention they can.

So it's up to their promotional team top make sure the game gets as much attention as possible, and ranks above the others on the major sites, so that it becomes more popular.

I'd pick this one over Bayonetta ANY dy, the game looks terrible, and the gameplay looks just like every other cheap hack-n-slash (Bayonetta).

Darksiders and Dante's Inferno leave that one for dead,

Thanks guys (and others) fo runderstanding the principle of how every gaming site does their OWN GOTY awards. It's not and industry standard or Award such as the Golden Joystick Awards where all facets of the game industry are looked at and awarded individual prizes.

It's how each team/staff memember, all of whom are volunteer btw, "experienced' their games, the ones they choose to buy and play this year.

I think from the whole team, contributors and staff, ther...
