To be honest, I can NOT see what all the fuss is about this game.

Is it JUST because there's some woman in the game that wears super skin tight gear, throws her legs open and wide, and swears a lot??

Probably. Because if you check out the actual artwork, it's so blocky, you'd could mistake it for a 1st-gen game, not a modern HD game.

While collecting screens for it, I was shocked by some of the really poor quality of them, and the vids were rather mehhh ...

Learn to read, or keep it in the Open Zone for comedy mate.

I said that when it DOES come around, I won't be racing every car of the 1000, not many will, just those who HAVE to say they have, even if it's only once around the track to be a show off.

Quite true mate in many ways.

I've got over 500 hours up in Forza 2, substancial hours up in Forza 3, and while I own all 360 odd cars in Forza 2, there's no way I can tweak, alter or customise each and every one of them.

Forza 3 has a good selection of cars from the various makers. Even now with over 450 - 460 cars already, there's not a hope in hadies that I'll play a great deal with every car in the stable.

I may well end up owning them all, in due co...

Have you not heard, Poly have canceled the Japan release, and given no date whatsoever, and said it may well be out with the western release, which is 'possibly' last quarter of 2010's financial year, which could be anything from Nov/Dec 2010 - Feb/march 2011

Just do a google for "Grand Torismo 5 delayed again" and place this years date, and you'll find it there, it was on CVG, EDGE and almost all other major sites last week.

So now there is NO RELEASE Date...

Have you played the game and the DLC, the Lotus-2 Eleven?

Have you read the actual review of the car in-game.

I clearly state in the review that the so-called underpowered Lotus has it all over the big guns in the turns, corners and back area of Le Mans Circuit de la Sarth, where it counts.

It's flat as a tack and can catch up on any of them, with the right driver, and handles like a dream. Yes, the others are all over it from halfway up the long straigh...

Well to be honest, I'd be terribly "ticked off" right now with Poly as GT5 has now been given an undefined release date, falling back on their "possible 2010 Holiday season release. Japan has had theirs canceled with NO date set at all.

Come on ppl, no matter what development company it is, we'd all be up in arms that it (a developer) delayed a game 3 years in a row, and then gave a release date of "unknown".

You build a game and get it to as...

I list them in orde rof my personal preference and my thoughts as cars overall from the pack.

So it's the Aston Martin ONE-77, of which only 77 cars are being made, each one is basically hand made for its owner. Every metal body panel is hand formed and hand fitted.

The chassis and mono-unipbody is almost all carbon fibre, and the suspension is more like a formula one car, than a street car. Yet it has all the trimming of a luxury vehicle.

If y9ou drive ...

Well I figure good racers want to know HOW the cars handle, perform and look. As well as what their real life counterparts are and how they differ from other cars.

Which is why there's so much technical details on each car, as well as how it performed on the same track as each other. Rather than random tracks that suited each car. That would be unfair really.

So using the Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe's new track and the Old Mulsanne (the one with the HUGE long straig...

Thanks mate, they are great, although there were one or two disappointments in there, especially the Shelby GT500, which came in at 10th spot in the favourites list.

Yes, the loading times are terrible, I hate them actually.

If they could fix that, it would be much better.

While I do like the game, there are elements of it that drive me mad.

So it is s good as he says it is?

It looks and sounds like something you'd be spending a great deal of time in . . ?

So long as the cities expand and contract due to rise and fall of emplyment and management, that would be fine.

How many hours have you put into it so far?

Don't be disappointed mate, there will be some local tin in coming DLC's, it's just these were the cars that were more prominent in the AutoWeek Car Show this year. So you will see Aussie Tin in future DLC.

And you really do need to have a bash (not taken literally) in the Aston ONE-77, it's a brilliant car.

Really, cool, I;ll check it out actually, so long as it's not too dear, then it'll be a buy for me. JB are usually really good with their prices, so it could be a welcome change to the track work I've been doing of late in Forza 3, Grid and other such games.

Right now there's over 450 cars all up incl all special vehicles from pre-orders, Turn 10 bonus cars, the 2 packs and the initial release pack, which included several tracks as well.

And there's many more to come, and also tracks . . . No probs for me now, I have a nice big fat 250 gig HDD for my 360, and they can make as many DLC packs as they want to hehehehe

I used to be an avid game bargain addict, especially in lastgen's Xbox era. Boy did I get some bargains. But this-gen, there seems to be less of them, and far too many games coming out to keep track of.

Those who complain that there's no games, they need to go back a few years and see what was available back then, Even as early as 2004-5. No wone publisher can put out a game each week (EA published 55 games in 09).

Bargain hunting is great, but boy can it be frustra...

I think it's in the second month mate, It was on our list last year, but didn't get many ppl looking at it. After reading and seeing the images, this game has made it straight onto my must-have-list sadly.

Well seeing that you've NEVER played the game It's nice to know you can pass such qualified comments about it.

I at least do not comment on things I have not played. But then again, I am talking to a one eyed biased individual who has yet to grow up. When you do, you'll see that all games, no matter what the platform, are here to be enjoyed by all.

Well I'm about to dedicate several hours to them this evening, racing as well as just driving then around a few tracks. The test track i use is the two main Le Mans circuits - old and new.

The only thing I do with all of them is lower the tyre pressure a tad to allow for more grip in corners.

Well 1800 points is aboout $AU15 I think, as I get 3000 points for $32 when I top up. So for the ten cars, it's very cheap really.

Oh do go away, you wont find me bagging PS3's precious game, in fact, I'll be buying it. Because I'm a gamer, not a whinner.

So do everyone a favour, and grow up.
