Or you know, some people just have more fun with cheats. Doesn't anyone remember back in the old days when many games had cheats you could activate in the vanilla game? Sad now that we are more concerned with how others play the game, preventing cheating, caring about what difficulty you are playing on and what trophies and achievements you have.
Not sure why you are getting so many disagrees. I really like Driveclub, looks amazing and great controls, but there is a total lack of customization and it SUCKS.
I can't speak to NFS handling issues, but the game features a TON of customization. For me part of the fun of a racing game is customizing everything about your favorite car, from tires to body mods to performance tuning etc...
We are talking about a galaxy filled with innumerable species and civilizations etc. literally quadrillions of sentient life forms. How could anyone possibly defend there only being 12 weapons? If they need to make some up, then that's what they need to do! Stop being a fanboy and understand that this small variety of weapons is nothing short of silly. If it's a problem with lucasarts then they should have considered the reaction when deciding to make a competitive fps game, where wea...
The problem with these huge day 1 patches is that there are still people who don't have home Internet either because they choose not to pay the monthly fee or because they live somewhere with crappy/nonexistent service, etc. These games are presumably shipped out in a broken state hence requiring a huge day 1 patch, so if you can't download the patch you're kinda screwed.
Also I think many people don't realize how bad this will be for retro gaming in the futur...
Why the hell don't they bring this over to the U.S.?!? The 3DS game looks cool, definitely a lot better than that super butoden crap that we are getting. DBZ is still popular here, and Xenoverse did well. I bet this would do well too, but doubt it'll ever come to the west and that makes me sad and angry.
@Gosukyomomma
By that logic almost any game can be deemed repetitive.
"I bet you the mission you're doing is to shoot stuff right?"
"I bet you the mission you're doing is to hit stuff with your weapon, right?"
You can make anything sound repetitive if you simplify it that much.
The day that gaming becomes all-digital is the day I stop being a gamer.
Physical for life.
They are releasing this for wii u but not 3DS? If that's true, ffs Nintendo. I love my 3DS but the treatment it gets from Nintendo is ridiculous at times. I don't ever plan to buy the Wii U, but there sure are a lot of games I would pay for if they would just release them on 3DS, namely games like this and games from the ambassador program etc, games that could easily be on the 3DS.
I am so damn proud to see these comments. Always-online is simply not necessary unless the game is inherently a multiplayer-only game. Sometimes I see gamers express complete apathy towards always-online, but it makes me happy to see people speak up to this. It is total garbage, and we must let the game companies know! I won't be touching this title.
Predator! There hasn't been any good predator games, but I bet rocksteady could murder it with a predator game.
First mobile game I've spent money on. I'm really hooked on it, it is a lot of fun. The micro transactions aren't required by any means but I was having so much fun I figured "what the hell, this game would've been worth 10-20 dollars to me, I'll pay a little bit."
All this complaining about graphics...
Ok, some of the comments defending the graphics are also a bit ridiculous... Just because it's a large game doesn't mean it can't look better.
Still, if you've played/enjoyed fallout 3/NV this should not be a big deal. I think I put more time into those games than any other game, because they were so damn fun and there was SO much to do, the subpar graphics and animations could not stop the games from be...
Well the 1.04 patch gave PCs a 10-15 fps boost, according to articles I read. If they can accomplish something similar on consoles we should see a pretty rock solid 30fps 99% of the time. That's what I'm really hoping for, but any improvement at all to frame rate will be welcome.
How about fixing the frame rate/stutter? A little worried they didn't mention it in this article. 1.04 improved frame rate significantly on PC, hoping it can improve on consoles too...
lol @ your disagrees.
That's what you get for not praising this game as the 2nd Coming and having the audacity to complain about a legitimate flaw of the game. Luckily the next patch should address the issue when the console version is brought up to 1.04 or later.
"it's simply just wrong for people to say that 30fps is fine for gaming. 60fps will always make a better experience."
Hmmm but that's like saying "4K will always make a better experience." Etc.
There are priorities and limitations on consoles. It will not always be viable, depends on what kind of game is being made. I would love for every game to be 4K 60fps with perfect performance, no dips, no screen tearing or other artifacts, n...
Yeah, really don't see how they can be considered "masters of optimization."
They know how to make a great RPG, but optimization is clearly not their strongest trait. I trust they will take the time and put in the effort to make it right though.
Perhaps you should actually *read* the article, then you wouldn't look like such a dummy. Both consoles have issues running the game right now, but ps4 is a slightly smoother experience, according to DF.
I wouldn't call it smooth and great. I agree with the article, ps4 may be a bit better than the X1 version, but it's hardly a smooth experience. The frame rate dips and stutters are bothering me, don't remember playing any other ps4 game that has this degree of frame rate issues.. I hope future patches get it to a smoother state.
Yeah, no worries. I can see why some would think it was boring, but there are always those that like it that way. I just think everyone should be able to play how they enjoy the game, especially when talking single player experiences.
