^ "Wah ma PC game has less particle effects now wah it's consoles fault wah seriez TOTALLY RUINED"
Geez get over it. The game will still likely be regarded as a masterpiece or very close to one, and will sell LOADS. The series will be just fine. Sorry the visuals won't be at their maximum potential, still looks great and looks very enjoyable regardless.
Posts like this are so hilarious. When EA does this, it's the worst damn thing ever. Just goes to show that when people like the studio they can get away with almost anything.
Just to clarify, I'm really not hating on the devs. The game still looks nice, and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy the heck out of it. But there's no denying it looks quite a bit worse than before. These things do happen in the development process for a variety of reasons. It's just ...
Of all the monsters not yet revealed, that's the one you're asking for?
Heck, maybe they should add Zilla, would be fun to kick his ass with all the other Godzillas!
Guys, the point is that the architecture is there. These companies literally don't care about you beyond what's in your wallet. Just imagine for a second an all digital future. It's not hard or unrealistic to imagine, for instance, companies "leasing" their games. You pay $60 bucks for the privilege to play for 1-2 years, then after that the next time you connect to the internet the game is deleted from your hard drive and irretrievable until you pay your dues...

If this version doesn't have the atrocious screen tearing that was in last-gen consoles I will definitely pick it up.
Is it possible that this is an exaggeration? I remember hearing about The Last of Us having something like 60 second load time to start before release and it never, ever took that long for me. Granted sometimes it could take almost 30 seconds but we have to keep in mind that exaggerations do happen. I'll believe it when I see it, surely not going to take this poorly written article at face value. (seriously, author needs to learn to grammar.)
What, have you never seen the discussion take place before? PC is always the superior version if you have that option, but console has it's benefits as well;
1. Console is cheaper.
2. Console is easier to set up. Easily plug and play on nice TV.
3. PC setups can suffer from optimization problems since everyone has different PCs and configurations. This can lead to frustrating crashing and other problems that take time to fix.
When it comes...
I don't know how many times this needs to be rehashed but there are so, so many issues with this. It was implemented so incredibly poorly, it's actually amazing how badly it is implemented. But even if they fix the myriad of problems with this implementation, I'm not sure there's an end-game that will work out for monetizing mods...their very nature is one that is experimental and altruistic.
LOL
1)Valve taking money from modders (75%!)
2)No system in place to stop stolen mods
3)No system in place to limit low-effort mods
4)Overpriced "micro" transactions.
5)No guarantee that the mod will be patched if an update happens.
6)Modders lose rights to their mod after uploading.
7)24 hour return policy which does nothing to ensure that a mod is compatible.
8)Errors may only become evident days after "purchase.&q...
I never said they didn't make money, I said they don't charge their audience. And they don't. Therefore, your analogy doesn't hold up.
Sorry, I got no special graphs. I also couldn't produce any pretty graphs for the myriad of other companies that advertise on a regular basis. Who can say how much business taco bells late night commercials generate, precisely? But I promise you, there's legitimate reason companies spend exorbitant amounts of money to g...
Your argument makes no sense. Youtubers don't charge their audience to watch their videos...
But you do bring up another good point; most companies would actually pay to get this kind of advertising.
Would my job possibly benefit from the extra exposure of you doing your job commenting about my job?
If so then...yes. I'd be pretty damn cool with it. When can you start, you're hired.
I would be pretty greatful for the extra free exposure, like most of the other video game companies are.
My issue with this cloud computing, aside from the obvious criticism that nothing has actually been shown, is that even if it DOES work out and do what it's claimed to do, any game that heavily relies on that technology will effectively become an "online only" game, something I staunchly hate.
I'm sure it could be great tech for MMOs and other online multiplayer games, but it's never going to benefit me, as I prefer single player experiences and never b...
Nah. New characters, new story, new ship. I loved the Normandy too but I'm sure they will come up with something cool for the design of the next ship.
This was easily one of the dumbest articles I've ever read on N4G.
"Our protagonist is gone being indoctrinated by the enemies we fought against for three games and the "ending" was in his head. This has all been proven."
No. Just...no. As much as I disliked the ending as well, we need to be able to discern between what is actually considered canon and what is an (albeit in-depth) fan theory of the ending. As far as I know, Bioware NE...
That's why GameStop has to pay Nintendo whenever they make money off their IPs by commercially selling their videogames used...oh wait.
Oh, the game itself is the content? So if I upload a video of myself playing a game that's all it will take to get close to a million views and then I'll make thousands of dollars like AJ does? Sweet gonna start now I wonder why everyone doesn't do this...
/s
Yes Nintendo has the right to do this, pretty much everyone agrees on that fact. But it's not doing anyone any favors, not even themselves.
Exactly where it happened to me on ps4 version. Very early in the game and experience a crash already, dissapointed.
