Exactly, and Guerilla was LAST GEN. "Cloud computing" is not necessary for good destruction physics. The power is already there, it was there last gen, it is here now, it will be here in spades for next gen. I hope people realize this kind of hype is just to condition you to want always-online games. That's the real sales pitch here.

It's really not as bad as many claim, but still not on the level of any of the original trilogy. I would prefer a current gen remaster of the trilogy over a sequel to Andromeda.
Just in case anyone is interested in this game, it is a great game but I do not recommend getting the US version, as it is just the vanilla game with download voucher. The UK version has all content on disc, which is better imo.
I feel the same way. I have no problem with streaming existing of course, but I will always support physical consoles and games over streaming.
Yeah honestly. The weapon crafting was one of the only things I actually liked about 3. I wish we could've had it in 1 and 2. IMO the weapons were not the problem with 3.
It really is getting bad. The industry is slowly but surely killing off physical. Almost every release has a day one patch, and even then, more will inevitably come. Games seem to always release in a broken state and need patches to function properly.

I like the Sony controller, but I have now had 2 fail on me, and they are just too expensive. I have now invested in some third party wired controllers for about half the price and they are working out pretty good.

I will never buy into cloud gaming/ streaming-only gaming. Not even in years and years and years from now. If a developer wants to make a game that is online only and benefits from cloud tech, that's fine. I probably just won't play those types of games. But the moment the industry moves as a whole to that being the only way to play, I'll be done. I'll be a "retro gamer" that hangs on to his old PS5 and 3DS etc.
Plus with the Lite it doesn't have removable joycons, so when this issue affects someones Switch Lite the solution won't be as simple as just buying replacement joycons (which are stupid expensive as is.)

The direction they took this game in is simply amazing. I agree that original Kratos was a little worn out and tiring with his constant rage and anti-heroism. Showing him as an aged, tempered warrior rediscovering his humanity was such a genuine joy to watch and play. The character development on display in the reboot is just next-level.
