@ pekolie
Faking a single still and faking actual footage are two completely different animals. It's as good as confirmed.
I agree, I honestly couldn't tell if this article was even supposed to be serious. I'm super excited for this generation, this feels like something that should have happened many generations ago; fully detailed anime-style 3-D graphics, and entirely new game mechanics. Pokemon has been a stagnant franchise, though it stayed popular enough that it didn't *need* to change, but boy am I glad to see the changes that are finally coming after all this time. This is akin to a reboot for ...
Realism is only good to a certain extent. If this game was really realistic, then once your car ran out of gas an the cops caught up to you, you would be arrested. Then for the next year every time you turn on the game you are sitting in jail until finally you get your day in court. Once convicted, for the next10 years whenever you turn the game on its just your character sitting in a prison cell. You can do push-ups, read books, and take group showers. Because realism.

@mika
What a pile of CRAP. Every industry has to deal with a USED market. Car manufacturers don't make money on second hand sales, neither do toaster companies, clothing companies etc. WHY should game developers get SPECIAL TREATMENT?
I agree, studios WILL close, and that's because many studios make CRAP games that no one wants to buy new, and sure as hell don't want to invest in micro transactions for.You want to make more money? Make better gam...
Last gen I preferred ps2 for obvious reasons.
This gen I preferred Xbox 360. I own both, but I got the 360 first, got used to the controller, and a lot of the multiplatform title I play are ones that are superior on 360 and ported poorly to the ps3. No hard feelings, 360 simply was better for me most of the time.
However, even as a fan of the 360 it's quite clear the ps3 is going to be far superior for gaming. Xbox one is a joke, and I am pretty upset abo...
Who said anything about the natives? I'm not claiming America is perfect, or doesn't have terrible history. Between the killing of the natives, slavery, and several civil rights violations for minority groups, America certainly has her dark sides. We've come a long way, however, and continue to work towards doing better. This has nothing to do with the fact that guns are a necessity.
The natives would have been justified to defend themselves and their land, and it...
So the American revolution had nothing to do with America's founding. And I have flawed logic...
The use of "things that can kill" is why America exists, and is also why we aren't all speaking German, and Jews aren't all exterminated.
In a world where people murder, rape, and steal; where governments and their armies attempt genocide, "things that can kill" are necessary. We don't have to like it, I sure don't, but putting our head in the sand doesn't make that fact any less true.
This is dumb and I hope he gets some other alternate transformation as well, like a mecha-mewtwo or something. This form just does nothing for me. Hopefully they don't nerf base mewtwo's stats to try to make this one more appealing game-wise.
A console can do both. I like backwards compatibility because, in general, previous gen games play better on more powerful consoles. For instance, I got the dbz budokai HD collection for 360 and the load times are non existent. On ps2 the load times were pretty significant, I'd get an army of saibamen while waiting whereas now I can barely get one or two on screen.
Of course it also depends on how the BC is done, because some ps2 games I play on my ps3 will lock up and fr...
Case in point, just read some of the comments in the article...
"why would anyone ever play a male Shepard?"
"my thoughts exactly. Femshep is easier on the eyes and has a better VA to boot. Every time I see an official screenshot I wonder who that scruffy guy wearing HER armor is."
Hipsters.
For a while femshep players were acting pretty elitist about it, and it was annoying. Femshep players would snobbishly act as if manshep didn't even exist, despite the majority of players playing as manshep, and would rant and rant about hales perfect angelic voice as if it were the second coming, and in the rare instance they acknowledged meer, it was only to talk about how terrible a VA he is, even though for video game standards he's easily one of the best out there.
I've never heard of this problem. Just searched google, could not find a thing. I know there were issues with importing, and even the "black hole" glitch, but this is just weird.
The only thing I can say is to always, always, always, back up your saves.
Even if the US infrastructure was perfect, in that there was a perfectly stable broadband connection that never, ever dropped, that was available to every single person alive, it would not change my mind because that's not the point.
The point is, if I purchase a single player game that does not require Internet connection to have an effect on the game, then I shouldn't need to be connected to the internet to play the damn game. Period.
It's BS th...
I'm really excited for this. It came so far out from left field, and I can see how that could be off putting to some, but I'm definitely intrigued by this. It's a risk, but this is the kind of risks game companies should be taking. They aren't playing it safe by just giving us more of the same, even though the base far cry 3 game was amazing. But to that point, trust the devs, I bet this is going to be the retro tron-esque FPS that nobody even knew they wanted, but will want i...
Well it shouldn't be causing negative perceptions towards Microsoft because Microsoft hasn't said a peep yet. As far as I'm concerned this is all speculation and until Microsoft officially confirms or denies rumors I'll reserve my anger and perceptions.
It would be nice if Microsoft would just set the record straight now instead of staying silent, but at the same time Microsoft doesn't have to make a public announcement every time people start spreading ru...
It sounds like you don't understand how the patch effects perks and leveling up. You will get MORE perk points, you will actually be able to max ALL perks if you take the time to keep leveling up. You will also level up past level 81, which means more health/magicka/stamina
@ Nevers
It is just semantics. It is not a bait and switch, you are told in a very clear cut manner what you are getting before you finalize the transaction.
Sure, gearbox could have made the season pass include *all* DLC, but this would have increased the price of the season pass considerably, and would have led to complaints from people who dont necessarily want every piece of DLC, like all the extra skins and whatnot. Instead they basically offered yo...
Dumb, and you are not the first person I've seen make this asinine argument. You can't measure a game by the amount of "levels" you can level up in game. Mass effect games never let you level up to 99, and it did not have any negative impact, because the game wasn't designed to do that. Same with other games, like fallout, fire emblem, hell skyrim was vastly enjoyable even with just the 81 level cap. I could name tons of games that don't have a 99 cap and are still f...
If anything, the leaks have got me more pumped for this game. I have been following the leaks closely and know just about everything that has been revealed so far from leakers, and I can safely say that I wouldn't be nearly as excited if I hadn't.
While leaks *can* potentially ruin the hype for certain games, I don't really see how that applies to pokemon. Usually a leak hurts a game when crucial plot details, especially the ending are leaked, because that can rui...
