I personally have a hard time believing that, but we'll see. Nintendo would be stupid to charge this much IMO. IDK, it just doesn't add up when you consider the prices for the Wii and DS were low.

Doesn't matter either way IMO. It's not like any of the crap they say sticks anyway. Let them make ignorant statements.

This crap has happened with other forms of media, too. It's the older generation picking on a new form of media they know nothing about.

The 3DS games likely aren't going to be $50. The article did a direct conversion, which isn't how things are priced in the US.

I get your point, though. But Sony is usually on the expensive end of things.

I highly doubt the PSP2 launches for under $250. If it's so far ahead of the 3DS like everybody here claims, then you'll have to pay for it.

I'll be getting a 3DS. Not because of the 3D(Couldn't care less IMO), but it's awesome game lineup. Yeah, the launch lineup doesn't look that good, but it's not the launch lineup for my region so I hope OoT will make it for the NA launch.

The graphics don't bother me at all. They're really not that bad at all.

They need to go back to what made the games great in the first place. Bring back the old style of Tony Hawk.

Million point combos FTW lol.

Kind of a blah press conference from a gaming perspective. Some of the TV stuff they showed was cool, though.

I like the new Lara better.

Also, Phoenix Wright is WIN. Had to throw that in lol.

Very good scores so far. The average may fluctuate up and down in the coming days, but this thing has pretty much secured a 90 or higher IMO.

I don't think LBP is trying to take anything away from mario. They're as different as can be. They cater to seperate crowds, are on seperate consoles, and focus on different gameplay elements. So I don't think it's trying to be mario at all.

I'm more of a mario guy myself, but comparing Mario and LBP is unfair to both games.

Great score. Looks like the first GOTY contender has arrived. Man, what is it with January? For a few years now GOTY contenders have landed in January. It's great to see, considering that January used to be a drought month.

I have really high standards in terms of what a 10/10 game is. I think I've only given 4 or 5 games a 10, and I've been gaming for 20 years. I've given lots of 8's and 9's, but a game has to be nearly perfect for me to give it a 10.

It kind of makes me mad when sites throw 10's around all over the place. It wasn't always like that, though. A 10/10 used to be a real accomplishment that happened rarely, not so sure about now though.

I'm not saying it's a bad, gamebreaking thing. I'll just have to get used to it since the platformers I play have tight jumping. I love the concept of LBP itself, though.

I have high expectations for this game. The first one was good, but the jumping was a little too loose for my liking. Hopefully they fixed that. That's the only real problem I had with it, though.

This game, however, looks to be a lot more than a platformer. The user created content looks to be awesome, too. I love games like this. They give you near infinate replay value.

OoT belongs in the discussion, that's for sure. To me, the game was truly masterful. It's flaws were minimal, and the positive things about this game overshadow the negative so much that it's barely visable while playing.

I remember stepping foot in Hyrule Field for the first time. The sense of adventure it gave off was outstanding for it's time. The bosses were epic, the puzzles were challenging, the story was great, the characters were likeable, and the gr...

"Better than ever" is kind of an iffy statement. The 8 and 16 bit era's were pure bliss for fans of 2D games.

That being said. The 2D format has made a very welcome resurgance. It's great to see.

Nah, but that video cracks me up.

Lmao, I love when the kid just screams at the box. It got a bit freaky when he started clawing at it though lol.

And the girl is just following the boy's lead lol.

My favorite gaming christmas moment was when I got my N64. It was christmas day, and I thought I opened all my gifts. I was really happy because I got a couple of sweet Genesis games. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I see a huge present sitting under our dining room table. It was, of course, the N64. I didn't freak out like that famous video, but it was by far the best christmas surprise ever for me. It came with OoT and Goldeneye. Best Christmas ever lol.

I found the whole GT5 thing funny. They gave it most underacheiving game, yet turned around and gave it racing game of the year. I guess that had to do with the MASSIVE fan generated hype for the game. Not the game's fault, of course.

I agree with best publisher. I used to despise EA, but you have to give them credit lately. They've really tried to turn things around. Picking up "untested" IP's is proof that they're trying to become more than Madde...
