The water got even better. Wow.
That's a steal of a price. Damn.
This game looks good and funny as hell IMO. Talk about a dysfunctional team lol.
I have high hopes for this.
EA did really good IMO. They kept it simple and straight to the point. This is 2 years in a row that they've had very solid briefings.
Can't help but feel this is a waste of his talent. How the hell do you go from Psychonauts to this?
True, but I think there's casual appeal, too. Put it on peaceful mode and it's basically a video game version of lego's.
That's a pretty huge get for MS in terms of casual appeal.
There's a reason why I used "if" in the beginning of both sentences. It's because I had doubts about the length. I wasn't saying anything with any confidence.
I hope they nail the pacing if it is indeed a 5 hour conference. If it really is 5 hours of actual conference, it has potential to drag if sony loads up the beginning or end of the show.

But I think the actual conference will be 3 hours followed by a 2 hour media hands on.
Exactly. Nintendo did that last year with the 3DS. The 3DS demo time was included in the runtime. The actual conference lasted about 2 hours.
Agreed. If the Twilight Princess trailer made some people tear up, imagine how the crowd will react seeing Hyrule Field, Lost Woods, and Lake Hylia in gorgeous HD. I can't wait. Nintindo NEEDS to show Zelda on the project Cafe, even a tech demo will suffice.
Good news for Nintendo, as it seems like the launch could have done MUCH worse than it actually did. At E3 Nintendo should bring out the heavy hitters, though. We already know about Super Mario, but Nintendo needs to have at least one major surprise at the show.
The NGP is still a pretty mysterious piece of hardware, so naturally people are going to be talking about it rather than the already available 3DS. To counter this, Nintendo needs to replicate what they did last E3....
The seal of approval doesn't exactly mean quality. It was put in place during the NES days to give Nintendo control over what to put on their system. This was done to avoid the mass oversaturation that killed the 2600.
Exactly. And that is far more important than this. I'm not trashing indie devs, but Nintendo needs to repair their relationship with 3rd party devs first. I think they're starting to mend that. They're far from the unaccomidating snobs they were in the N64 days.
Years, in the case of the Wii. It seemed like it was in "launch mode" in terms of demand for the first 1.5-2 years of the systems lifecycle.
I'm glad to see Bulbasuar in the top 3. I always have a Venasuar with me whenever possible. Anyway, here are my favorites by generation.
I: Bulbasuar
II: Chikorita
III: Torchic
IV: Chimchar
V: Tepig
The numbers have to be good for Nintendo to be talking like that. It's a type of statement that's either true or a blatant lie, and I'm thinking it's the former because Nintendo isn't retarded.
If Nintendo had a successful launch despite the rushed announcement, subpar game lineup, and $250 price point, just imagine where the 3DS is going to be once they REALLY get the ball rolling.
I wouldn't doubt it. When I played the demo unit at best buy it felt like my eyes were still in "3D mode" shortly after, which could produce an effect like that.
Neat little tidbit though.
I'm stunned. Bravo, Sony.
