You don't seem to understand what's at stake here.
There is a political minded group of individuals trying to hijack gaming for their own ends by pushing a sociopolitical agenda. They want gaming to turn into some sort of "academia" for intellectuals (whatever the heck that means).

I tire of those misconstruing statistics to push a point. Yes, more women play video games than men (this has been the case for years) but it's the KIND of games they play.

If you had a choice of getting the game for $50 (or cheaper during the Steam winter sale) or having no choice but to pay $60, which would you go with?
If they release GTA 5 on PC AFTER the Steam winter sale, people will be forced to pay more for it, AND they'll have cleaned up in sales from the PS4 and XB1 during the holiday season.

A lot of the default settings were scaled for PC, and at the time the PS4 and Xbox One OS code weren't implemented. So, yeah. Take from that what you will.
