People don't read before they mouth off these days.
Lol! 2 games with decent graphics and they're all celebrating.
2 weeks? My PS3 has been idle for more than 2 months, so 2 weeks is nothing.
It is not about a glitch in the game that is being exploited. It is about a game that lacks a very fundamental feature of the simulation experience.
Yep Forza is without doubt the more complete and better simulator.
The only thing you hear about of GT is graphics (and honestly the ingame graphics aren't all that). GT is for those who are content to be wowed at a car show and maybe take a car out for a testdrive.
But if you want a garage and love trackdays, Forza is where its at.
So we're all agreed that this isn't the finest driving / racing simulator around?
Without addressing the issue of damage, GT can only be a pseudo sim at best. What is the point of driving physics when there are no consequences for bad driving?
I disagreed with you because from the screenies, GT5p wasn't that much better than Forza.
Actually if you leave out fanboism, those screenies certainly didn't do GT5p any favors cos I certainly don't see photorealism in any of the pics.
You're wrong. Many people buy Wii because they like how accessible and fun the gameplay mechanics and games appear to be. So if they only want 1 console in the house for the family, Wii might well be the choice even if all consoles were free. You'd be surprised how many people don't care about 1080p and blu-ray for gaming.
What on earth are you going on about!?? EVERYBODY expected PS3 to sell like hotcakes, NOBODY expected Wii to be a success, and NOBODY seriously thought 360 would fare much better than its predecessor in Japan (which means everyone expected PS3 to surpass 360 in Japan easily, contrary to what you say). Its sad enough that you have to resort to distorting all the facts just to console yourself about the current sorry plight of PS3, but please don't try to pass off as some holier-than-thou know-...
While it is good to keep your hopes up high, don't forget the bitter lessons from Lair, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk and others.
If Sony had any IP worth protecting, they'd be doing the same.
Bundling a demo with the console with a controller that detracts from the already limited experience of the halfgame does not sound too exciting.
Hmmm is this due to the shortcomings of PSN or the game or both?
Yes, blame Ps3rdplace on poverty.
Sorry Dacapn and liquidsnake, but Sabbath has spoken the gospel truth and you guys know it.
If you're foolish or rich enough or both to pay for what is essentially a playable demo, then just justify your purchase that way. Coming up with pathetically unimaginative excuses such as the road to alleged perfection or the freedom of choice simply shows a desperation to defend everthing Sony.
Wow so many people here anxious to be proven dead wrong and revealed to be fools.
I should be numb to it by now, but I still don't know whether to laugh or cry whenever the legion of Sony hardcores flock in to defend criticisms leveled against Sony.
If the posters here are to be believed, you'd imagine they'd probably have no qualms whatsoever waiting in anticipation only have to pay to play Killzone 2 : Prelude or MGS4: First Look or Final Fantasy XIII: Preview while the full games take another year and a half or more to release. And it'll still be nothing ...
lol! How did R1 stack up against Gears 1 btw...? Chances are KZ2 and R1 together won't be able to match Gears 2.
Well if its the same game but with better graphics on the 360 as is usually the case, then the one with better graphics is the better version of the game.
