Wow looks like Sony doesn't have an answer to the best quality RPG to come. PS3 will probably need a harddisk install and lower res to run a great game like that.
It's a pity that Ratchet and Clank are just uncharismatic and uninteresting cartoon characters because the games are otherwise quite fun in small doses.

As for the Wii, please FFS stop making excuses. All 3 consoles are in competition. Nintendo just made their own rules as to the terms of engagement.

My PS3 freezes a lot compared to 360, and I've had my 360 more than a year longer than the PS3 and played on it probably 10 times more than on the PS3. I'd say 360 hung on me maybe 3 times (twice on Oblivion though I believe it was a cache problem), PS3 hung on me more than 10 times (World Championship Snooker, American Idol, Pain, system updating, internet browser). Seems to me like PS3 is more prone to freezing.

LOL! PS3 owners, saying the sun rises from the west a million times doesn't make it true. If you read the past threads AND the source contents of those threads, you'd realize that the problem is a PS3 problem, or at the least it is predominantly a PS3 problem. The fact that Rockstar only talks about the PS3 version and now Sony comes out with a lame excuse confirms pretty much that is the case. Yet you deny... ah another usual day in N4G!

The sales figures for PS are skewed anyway because it doesn't take into account the countless desperate PS owners who bought 3 copies of the game hoping 1 of them will work.
I don't know about everyone else, but I still do buy some blu-ray movies to play on my PS3 while awaiting the arrival of MGS4.
I'm plenty upset with this constant barrage of negative news for the PS3 version of GTAIV, especially after it was hyped to be the superior version, but I guess the best way to deal with it is to laugh it off.
