I agree LaChance. GTA IV figures indicate that PS2 nation is moving towards both consoles, and not one. We will therefore see a great dilution of Sony's market dominance much to the chagrin of Kaz Hirai who realizes this and has already cooked up the excuse that they're not competing with Msoft and Nintendo.

Ghoul, it would be a blatant lie for me to tow the politically correct line and say that it is just my opinion that this game has horrible physics. I drive real cars in the real world, I've played PGR and Forza and now Grid Demo and so I'd stick my neck out and say for a FACT that this game has horrible physics compared to Forza and PGR.
Unless we're not talking about real world physics here.
Sorry bud, you know I won't disagree with you unless absolutely necessary, but this is such a case.
I did give the game a go. The cars have no weight and do not feel grounded, giving you no idea of how hard you're pushing them until it is too late. You can't feel collisions either, and you can't counter steer what you don't feel. And when I say feel, it doesn't just have to be rumble or force feedback because the way that the car moves should also give you a sense of a real ...
Crap talking? I played it single player and multiplayer for more than 2 hours trying to like it. Is there any reason why I would want to disparage this game without reason? If this is your idea of a great racer, good luck. Obviously, graphics are everything to you.
I honestly don't know what kind of racing games you guys have been playing but Grid is definitely horrible on physics, feel and even damage. The graphics are very good, but the driving is just so bad. You guys really ought to do yourselves a favor and try PGR or Forza for more realistic driving feel, or if you don't have a 360, GT5 Prologue. I mean even GT HD demo had far superior driving mechanics. Or if you're just into flat out arcade racers, I suppose Burnout Paradise or Sega Rally?
Dom is right insofar as he says Grid is horrible. I played it for 2 hours with a friend online trying to like it but just couldn't. Even as a non-sim, it cannot come close to PGR.
I downloaded the trailer and watched it in all its HD glory. I thought the amazing graphics of Gears 1 cannot be substantially improved upon, but this is freaking out of this world! Way beyond all those MGS4 and Killzone trailers I've seen!
