I have to disagree with you on this one I'm afraid. I spent more than 2 hours playing this demo and for someone who is still playing quite a lot of Forza 2, Grid was a big big letdown in all ways except graphics.

Stop lying Juuken. For the most part, MS never never talked unless they had already delivered. MS also never claimed to be able to take down Sony, but yes they wanted to take away from Sony, which they have successfully done.
Sony on the other hand has always been boasting and boasting about what's to come and it never comes. Until today Sony's got nothing to show for all their talk. We're still waiting for MGS4 to deliver, but one game is not deliverance for the console.
Why are you talking about PS3 hardware and GTA IV in the same breath when GTA IV revealed the hardware limitations of PS3?

Nah I don't think ANYTHING will beat Forza 2 if you have a real passion for cars. Realistic driving physics, great variety of cars, aggresive AI, consequences for bad driving, tuning, mods, amazing decal design options (absolutely addicted to this!), great online community - it is still the best and I simply can't enjoy other racers as hard as I try.
The environmental lighting is nice, but I'm not so sure about the character models.

So Sony admits that they screwed the masses by depriving them of choice of a better and cheaper format (since the choice was made by PS3 owners) and you say this is a spin? I'm just glad that Sony is bleeding from their investment both on the gaming and movie departments 'cos they deserve it.
It is already established that PS3 version runs at 630/ 640p and therefore less demanding on the system. Plus it requires harddisk installation. Brilliant ways of getting the most out of an inferior console, but shows the limitations of the PS3 nonetheless.
There are reasons why the line-up has been underwhelming - using a technology that developers are unfamiliar with, not having developer-friendly tools at the outset and having to shift part of the strategy for the PS3 away from gaming and towards the HD format war.
FF13 comes out this year?
Dam! That's yet another cross-out from my list of games that might justify the PS3. The remaining game on the list, MGS4, had better live up to the hype.
PS3 is the Home to nothing at the moment. It is Homeless in fact. So they, and their fanboys, should really stop making wild proclamations until there are some concrete indications that the proclamations are true. Take a cue from Microsoft and Nintendo - they only make proclamations after the event.
