I knew PS3 would be the better version, but I was still surprised to see the lack of shadows on the 360 and the retarded compression on the cutscenes. Plus some sections of video were cut? I mean they were not important scenes but come on, they really should have used a 4th DVD to get some quality back and keep content cuts to a minimum. I'll be enjoying my PS3 version thanks..
At my local EB (canadian gamestop equivalent) they told me that they had ~20 people pick up a copy of the PS3 version, and only 1 360 copy (this was about 11am EST).
Sorry buddy, but we are just not ready for pure digital media right now. Not with sh1tty ISPs that use ancient networks that are constantly oversold and over-saturated. When the ISPs actually give customers what they want and not impose ridiculous bandwidth restrictions, without costing an arm and a leg, digital media will not be as good as physical media.

Not to mention FFX being in #1.. the voice acting and story killed that game for me. FF6 is a much more deserving game of #1, I'd have trouble picking between 6 7 and 8 for the top 3. 9 for 4th and 4 for 5th for sure though.
Hmm and how much did it costs for your big home theatre system? It seems that whenever people compare PC to console, they bring up the point "well I can sit back on my couch and play games on a big TV", but for some reason they seem to forget that this big TV also costs a lot of money, making that 300 dollar purchase into a 1000+ dollar purchase.

Actually it's because the developers confirmed it for us, giving a huge list of improvements over the demo.. but seriously, give me a break. Multiplatform games don't look better than the exclusives you mentioned, and there is a very good reason for it: developers can't put the same amount of time and energy into 2 platforms as they can in 1.
