My 60Gb launch just died the other day after 2.5 years. I actually resurrected it using the blowdryer trick but I'm not going to rely on it. I'll open it up and clean out the dust since that is probably what is making it overheat, and then use it as a bluray player in the living room and perhaps light gaming with the gf. I'm buying a slim today, I really wish they'd offer an expensive version that has the same features as the launch but I'm sure I can live with it. Still have a PS2 I can use....
Washed out or not, there is still way more detail in the Uncharted 2 screens. Alan Wake looks good, but saying this two games are comparable is a bit of a reach.
PS3 exclusive, so it shouldn't be. And I doubt they are in any rush to make it multiplatform either.
I think what they are getting at is that it isn't as linear as FFXIII, that there are towns and airships and exploration to be had. FFXII was pretty close to an action RPG.
It's an action RPG from what I've heard, more like Star Ocean possibly. Hopefully we find out at E3!
Hell I didn't even bother buying the game, and originally I thought it was a sure thing until they shat all over the PC version.
Games don't become GOTY because of sales, its just that because they're so good they sell well. Market penetration is not a requirement..
After the flood that was Winter my wallet welcomes the change.
Just stating the facts here.
How generous of them...
I dunno, I disagree. I think they should be allowed to voice their opinion so that we can judge them properly. That way we'll know for sure they are morons and can safely ignore anything they say in the future on other topics.
Only downside is that they might attract other morons and influence them.. maybe while they are congregating we can just gas them or something.
Actually I really liked Crysis gameplay, I guess you just don't know what to do in a shooter if it doesn't shove you down a corridor.
Sad thing is it's more worthwhile than a 15$ map pack.
I don't think the PSP Go was even meant to replace the 3000. When faced with complaints about the price, they said it was aimed at early adopters. It would have performed better if they had managed to get the entire PSP library digital, and also allow those who bought a hardcopy to be able to download it for free onto the Go. And honestly, that issue wasn't their fault, publishers just wouldn't go for it. Not to mention that some game retailers wouldn't even stock the Go.
PSP Go ...
Yeah, I don't usually fall for the fat jokes either but I couldn't help but laugh when I read "the biggest troll".
But yeah his reviews and articles are essentially flamebait, and even if the topic itself isn't flamebait material he tends to bring something up to troll about anyway.
Here is a great site for just that kind of thing:

I guess I am just sick of Nintendo's smug attitude. They like to brag about how popular they are and how much money they're making, or how innovative they are, etc. Meanwhile, they've essentially ignored the group of people originally responsible for their success, much like what has happened to Call of Duty.
More like "Wii can do better" if anything.
Correction: Activision ruined it for you.
Yeah I was surprised it worked as well. I'm not entirely sure how it works, I imagine it warps the board a bit and if something had disconnected or had connected when it shouldn't be was reversed. It might not last as long as if I had used the process you did, but it was a temporary solution to get my saves. If it can last a while playing blu-rays that would be great.
I think YLOD is becoming more common because its something that occurs much later in the console's lifetime. I en...
