I had a PC last gen, and I've never played Socom.
I only played the PC version, which definitely did not ship or get patched with coop. Had no idea Xbox version had coop.
I have the PS3 version, and it does not say coop anywhere on the box. It only lists the number of players, which is a requirement.
Also Doom 3 has never had coop - you could only play coop through mods - so I don't know why this website is claiming that id removed it, when it never existed in the first place.
they'd also have to code and build UI to support switching between games (see MGS collection) - which isn't hard but could be another factor.
@John2, Grow up. What you fail to understand is that most programmers working on games like this are doing obscene amounts of overtime. It's not like this is a new development or anything, this has been going on for many years and has been reported on hundreds of times. So when you say stuff like "lazy developers" and "coding leftovers", you just sound like a tool, to me and to anyone else with a basic understanding industry.
Not to mention your argume...
I'm getting close to my limit on a 320GB that I installed - but I deleted some install data for games I won't ever play again.
I bought an extra copy to make up for his one man boycott.
I think that's the intended video.

The funny (sad) thing is, responses like this are more immature than the original joke.
Wrong, you can't resell devkits. In fact, you don't actually own them, they still belong to the company that is distributing them (MS, Sony, Nintendo).
This auction is bogus.
Nothing says entitlement like "change your free mod to suit my tastes"
Someone's a madbro.
Can you tell me what 6k textures are, because it sounds a lot like you're making stuff up. And also, Max Payne uses Rockstar's engine, which is called RAGE, not to be confused with the game called RAGE, which runs on an engine called id Tech 5.
You mean the technical problems that were solved almost immediately by updated drivers from AMD? Talk about being bitter, I can think of far worse launches than that.
Except in this case they are changing the terms *after* you have already purchased the software under the old terms. So there might be a case there, if someone decided to pursue it.
Surprise, Richard Stallman, not everyone agrees with you.
Also, "That's (windows 8) where the vast majority of users will be and it would be commercial suicide to do otherwise", I have serious doubts about that - Vista already proved that may not be the case, despite how outdated XP had become. Win7 hasn't been out for nearly as long, and I see no compelling reason to switch in terms of features. Instead I see compelling reasons to stick with Win7.
...
Hey you're right, I can believe these low res pop cans, really takes me out of the game. I thought I was engrossed in the world of rage, but those pop cans screwed everything up.
It's a flawed game for sure, but I still had a lot of fun with it.
You forgot the part where AMD stated they were releasing an update to fix the drivers for RAGE.

Well what I said was correct - pc never had coop. And we all knew BFG edition was based on PC, not Xbox..
