Biostar is a decent on a budget motherboard, in fact some of them were able to unlock cores on dual and triple core phenom 2 processors. Just don't expect many BIOS features or any decent overclocking capabilities.
Yep AM2+ boards support AM3, AM2 and AM2+, the only thing that doesn't work AFAIK is AM2+ (and below) processors on AM3 boards (and that probably includes AM2 as well) since AM3 processors have onboard DDR3 and DDR2 memory controllers and AM2+ and below just have DDR2.
You might have to reinstall your OS, yes, but it might work if you remove any motherboard drivers you installed. And you shouldn't run into any compatibility issues unless your RAM is rated at higher speeds than wh...
LOL AND PCS SO EXPENSIVE WTF JUST BUY CONSOLE ITS THE SAME RITE
I heard the open zone is for trolling.
You are not the only one, I honestly thought it was some kind of suit as well until I read the description.
Yep I agree it is the same story in games just as it is in movies. But that doesn't always bother me, for instance Avatar wasn't exactly brand new story material but it did some really interesting things that other movies haven't. I put Avatar along with Killzone 2, the story isn't mindblowing but still enjoyable, and the visuals are just polished like crazy. Avatar had filming innovations, Killzone 2 had engine innovations as well.
While I love innovative story telling and game...
I don't think you understand how much traffic that got them.. http://www.neowin.net/image...
Intolerant? GTFO with your race card
Isn't this expected? You make a crappy game the first time, people aren't going to rush out to buy its sequel. Especially when that sequel has had less attention.
It depends on how blur is used, for instance I really like how it was used in Metro 2033 on PC, with the per-object motion blur. I think it looks better than standard motion blur but its also a lot more taxing performance wise so we probably won't see it on any console games until next gen. I would like to see it replace full screen motion blur though.
But what did you expect to happen when 360 fanboys are screaming Alan Wake > Uncharted 2 and ps3 fanboys find out the game isn't native 720p?
Nope, impulse control disorder != addiction.
From wikipedia: "However, such disorders are classified by the American Psychological Association as impulse control disorders and therefore not as addictions."

This isn't anything new, most likely every game this generation will render its effects at different resolutions from its native resolution (meaning the resolution at which the geometry is rendered). And it makes sense, if you can save some performance with nearly unnoticeable visual degredation, then you should do it, especially if it gives you more room for more important visual features. For example, have you noticed in some games the shadows are very blocky and rough? That's because the s...
Wasn't there an article recently claiming that Sony had a higher percentage of users connected to PSN? Of course, that was worldwide, but apparently all that matters is NPD to MS. They LOVE to quote those figures.

Seriously it drives me mental when they call it an "addiction". It isn't a drug, theres no physical dependence, you don't go through withdrawals if you stop playing. I suggest these people read up on what an actual addiction is. In fact from looking at the wiki, they consider stuff like compulsive gambling as a impulse control disorder, and being unable to control your computer/gaming habits would fall under that same category. They ...
They blamed the PS3 for Platinum Games' terrible port? Are the PS3 exclusives (and even a few multiplatform titles) not enough to debunk that kind of argument?
It isn't lossless. Lossless is rarely ever used for video (if ever), however the audio is definitely lossless for PS3 FFXIII. Thor's formula is spot on.
Putting a question mark isn't enough, that doesn't imply its a prediction at all. Take a look at the one about Pachter, it clearly says "Pachter predicts new XBox Live Platinum Service", not "Xbox Live Platinum Service?", much more descriptive.
I was spoiled by Crysis too, but realizing that KZ2 was running on a PS3 and not a high end PC put the "wow" back into me.
And yes, coop would make the sequel godly. That was also my only complaint about KZ2. Although making the characters a little less swear happy would be nice, I mean maybe its realistic but I think a little more maturity would go a long way.
They'd have to be pretty stupid to let IW fall apart like it has. Regardless of what I think about MW2, IW apparently has the skill necessary to sell obscene amounts of copies. I can't see other developers accomplishing the same thing so easily, and honestly I hope Activision doesn't get that chance.
Honestly I can't stand FFXIII, enjoying Star Ocean and Resonance of Fate much more.
