As for them moving to Frostbite, the EA Canada team that works on the NHL series is a fraction the size of the team working on Fifa. They did release Kabylake like 6-7 months ago, I'm kinda bummed out that my 7700k is going to be outdated in a month. This seems kinda early and reactionary for a refresh of the mainstream variants.

Was this really necessary? Why are you assuming he doesn't own any other "current" platforms? You're also forgetting the Xbox 360 compatibility is just going to roll into whatever box follows the One X, they want all of their software to be able to run on new hardware in the future. Personally I'm kind of excited about the idea of three other people having an effect on the story and how things turn out, it's certainly a neat idea. I looked at the articles saw what the game was about and moved on, I don't post needlessly shit post other consoles. Some of you guys I swear are either children or have serious mental issues, it's all pretty sad.
I know it can be found for cheaper but Amazon has the 1 year cards listed at $74.99 CAD for PSPlus, XBL is sitting at $69-64 CAD. That's the cost of a brand new game at retail, with our tax that's close to 90 dollars a year just to play online. At that point it gets very difficult to rationalize the expense, especially when the PC every year gets more power into mITX and mATX boxes bringing something closer to a console form factor.
It's a bit different for people if they have been the target of that kind of harassment before. I absolutely agree with what you're saying in spirit, but I can also say that how I might react to someone saying negative stuff can be wildly different from how someone else may react.
