"Okay, you can bring your refugees because you blew up your planet with a WMD you planned on using on us. How much time should we give our citizens to get out? How about 5 minutes? Cool. So we're going to put these refugees under immediate heavy sanctions and behind a big ass wall? That shouldn't cause any issues."
Shadow Fall was a great looking launch title but F me the story was so stupid.
Ask your average person about Dieppe, the Falaise pocket, Tobruk, the long siege of Leningrad. Most people don't know about that crap already, which you're right isn't a good thing. The issue is we've had games and movies twisting things for their own narrative for years, which is fine when you understand what you're consuming is entertainment. You're applying the female soldier thing, and basically exacerbating things out like we're going to have millions of kids ...
lol, no it's a game where you're running around dual wielding pistols, regen health, you're fighting on a weird kilometre square map that seems completely cut off from the rest of the world...weird. It's almost like it's a video game and you're making mountains from mole hills.
They removed a Swastika! Western Civilization is doomed! DOOOOOOOOMMMMMEED! No most people will chuckle at it and move on, no one in their right mind is losing sleep over this...
Medal of Honour Allied Assault was so real, I went from Algiers to a secret chemical weapons plant in Germany. Video Games, the greatest teaching tool.
Okay, thank goodness this is a video game and not a history textbook.
Having a black female soldier, or a lack of swastika in the multiplayer in no way makes this game any less the arcadey dribble it has always been. Do you guys really think Call of Duty has ever had anything more than a slightly authentic veneer on top of what is essentially an action movie? Even CoD1/CoD2 were bombastic and over the top for their time, I'm trying to find old screenshots of CoD1 to see...
Yep, because a console that has to sell for less than 500 is going to get a full 8 core 8 thread Ryzen and a full Vega GPU. Sometimes you guys are tooooooo much.
"its a major threat to the Xbox One X" Okay there friend, they're just boxes calm yourself.
I could see a 2019 new Playstation, if it was actually just a hardware refresh and the idea of a "PS5" was put to bed. If everything is on x86 what's the purpose in hard cutting everything off? If the PS4 can still run some indie game why not?
I'm well aware they've already said a "PS5" is in the works and so, we're...
The Pro is 499 in CAD, and I'm sorry the support has been disappointing. Also you really think the PS4 is in the position it's in because of exclusives? You underestimate "It's where my friends are".
I'm not sure who was crying for black soldiers in CoDWW2, but it's certainly not the most egregious example of a WW2 CoD breaking realism. If people wanted historically accurate games CoD never would have been as big as it was to begin with. But you're right this is definitely the biggest issue with this game, not the dual wielding or the weapons operating more like a "modern" weapons.
He's talking about immersion in a game where you never swap out MG42 barrels, you can dual wield and it's CALL OF DUTY. The game was never realistic, do you people really think CoD1,2,3 and WaW were realistic? Jesus, you sound like the people who would look at old Medal of Honour games and go on about how "authentic" it was.
It's not Operation Flashpoint, it's not Arma, It's not Red Orchestra. If those are the things you want, I maybe suggest ...
I might recommend Etsy or whatever for what you seem to be wanting. The interviews that get posted on this site that involve cosplayers are the most mouth breathy, awkward, sad things that gets posted on N4G. That one post about the girl who cosplayed Mei from Overwatch. Everyone including the "author" going on about how they love Thick women and it just had to be the cringiest things I've seen on this site in years.
