So they're going to allow XBL to run on any hardware? If they're transferring 100% to services how will that work exactly? Windows based PC's? "Services" is a funny buzz word, it doesn't mean much on its own.
@dcbronco
NPD numbers came out what do you expect?
"Look at all the positive vibes for the thing I bought, go me; F--- the other guys"
They're big corporations guys, if they could stab you in the face and that would solidify their own and the companies status (Financially, Culturally) they would stab you in the face....twice. Phil Spencer, Kaz Hirai, Shuhei... they would stab any of you for that.
You...
You're telling me this Nintendo console is a Nintendo console!? What kind of witch craft is this!?
Seriously though, grow up. Bunch of "adults" downplaying peoples excitement for another plastic GAME playing device, bunch of playground BS.
Thanks for coming out, it's been...educational.
The level of detail, physics, unique assets, lack of aliasing etc all say no.
I'm not saying those games aren't visually impressive, but do you think in a Pixar movie if they had armed men(The rebels are all clones) like in The Order they would continue to use the same 5 guys over and over again? It's those kinds of details that will always visually elevate CGI movies over a game.
Historically accurate regenerating health, weapon attachments and 360 no scope.
Stop pretending CoD has ever been Red Orchestra, Arma/OPFP, or old Ghost Recon/Rainbow. It's an arcadey shooter designed for the lowest common denominator QUIT PRETENDING.
Or it could be the extreme cringe? Maybe?
The Switch is manufactured/assembled by Foxconn. Foxconn manufactures everything from motherboard components to smartphones. Nintendo is competing with all of that for manufacturing lines, there is a Dram shortage (no idea if Nintendo is affected, but it's a thing), what about Tegra3 fabrication? Nvidia can't keep the 1070 in stock, is that having an effect? There are far more variables than just "make more".
It was good, there was plenty of discussion about it around its release and after. The people I hang out with talked about Quake more than UT, is UT bad now? We never discussed Kingdom Hearts, does that mean Kingdom Hearts is bad or not popular?
You keep that tinfoil hat on though, you arbiter of what's good and whether people discussed it or not.
@Bigboss08
To be fair, "It's the one my friends have" just becomes a larger and larger factor as the generation goes on. You saw it with the 360, the 360 sold because that's where most people were doing their online gaming. I'm not defending the Xbox One here, but your comment is childish as hell.
It's a plastic box, get over it.
