Believe it or not, a lot of people don't care one bit about Persona 5 or Gundam Versus. What Blackout said is 100% true, there's a myriad of different reasons someone might choose a PS4, Switch or XB1.

There is no reason a patch wouldn't be available in the future, unless of course all of PSN disappears. The ability to download patches going away would make a rather large portion of current Gen software unplayable.

Just like L4D it's a lot of fun with a group of friends. 9.0 is still really high, but it's not unreasonable to believe someone had that much fun with it.
