Fair enough...but why is it being shut down? It seems even less reasonable if all the servers did was serve leaderboards.
Speaks of blind loyalty, yet clearly has a bias. The Fanboys have become half self aware.
Messaging as well, I shouldn't have to use a Neogaf thread to find the enhancements for a game on the Pro. Supersampling also seemed like such a no brainer move I assumed it was there from inception in all titles.
Perhaps he intended to play it on his commute? Does it really matter why he wants to purchase the game?
Bioshock on an iPhone was impressive, its lack of dedicated sticks and buttons was what kept me from paying it any attention beyond the technical side of things. No one was expecting this to run at 1080p, no one expected 60fps, you have to look at what the device is and isn't.
If snap map, Dooms MP and 60fps are key components to Doom for you then move on. Just keep in mind this is full ID Tech 6 not a cut down version of it running on the switch. Regardless of ANYTHING...
It's a console the size of a small tablet, it's a version of Doom on a tiny console, it's a portable version of Doom. Actually step back, and think about what this is and what it isn't. It's not Doom running on a PS4, Xbox One or PC, it's Doom running on a device with a mobile form factor. With caveats for sure, but it's doing something that we haven't really had until now; A device that's mobile enough to act in the same way as a Vita or 3DS, but can at le...
To bad, you're missing out on something great.
Unless the deal changes between now and the release of the game it's coming to PS4, to even suggest otherwise is stupid.
That's probably a good thing, stay there.
None of these people seem to realize this is the exact same conversation we all had in 2006. The market ultimately decides where publishers look for the money, not N4G.
It's foxtrot, the master of hyperbole and speaking for everyone.
You didn't read the article eh?
It's on the PC. Where it will also continue to look awful.
It doesn't look good enough to be fox engine. It's early, so I'm sure things will get ironed out and refined but from the screenshots to the short clips of gameplay NONE of that looked good. Animation, character models and environments all look pretty sub par.

Not only that it does not specify they're talking about the DEMO, not the full version of the game. It does in the sub header, but that title seems pretty deceptive.
Mine doesn't stutter and it didn't crash, imagine that.
This is my point, you have people expecting this to run on their ancient potato for a computer and having tantrums when it doesn't. Look at any of the steam comment pages for PUBG, it's filled with people complaining about "optimization" meanwhile anyone with a half way decent computer is north of 60. My question is, why aren't you guys up in arms about the lack of 144hz support? It seems to cap everything at 60fps, all these extra frames I have over 60 are wasted.
geeksultd is one of the greatest clickbaity websites on N4G, Weeblord approved.
Seriously, a handful of negative reviews a handful of positive...F it let's write an article boys! It's user reviews to, you know the thing you always take with a grain of salt?
Are you deranged?? "Oh man, this doesn't run to great on my PC I guess I'll go buy the console." No one in the history of modern gaming has done that. Does Microsoft make more money in the long term from some middle aged guy buying an Xbox One? Does the PR of X consoles sold matter? Wait...does it matter to you? Microsoft would prefer you play the game wherever you want, if Play Anywhere wasn't about getting their games in the hands of more people they wouldn't spend...
