Spoken like a true Core Gamer™.
Absolutely correct. Bubbles to you.
A lot of people tend to associate piracy with some burglar-mask-wearing thieves and it's not the same thing.
I'll take it a step further, though: a lot of movies I've seen I've gotten from torrents *gasp* why? Because they aren't available here in U.S. even via Netflix or Hulu. I love a lot of foreign movies and indie foreign flicks that aren't distributed here because there's no money to made by ...
Isn't that what EVERY publisher does on a developer's work and isn't that what EVERY distributor does off of a movie?
Yes sometimes publishers invest in a devs work (i.e., EA with BioWare or Activision with Infinity Ward, etc.,) but other times like in Limbo or Meatboy's case why should MS or anyone else profit from their work if they made it? Essentially that's your argument.
In that regards the scammers are no different than your middl...
If you can't afford Minecraft you probably also don't have the intelligence to play.
He also dissed Euclideon, which could be the greatest game engine ever made. I mean, more than anything you'd want to HELP someone make progress on a project like that, not hinder it with negativity.
Notch is kind of a douche at times.
No it's not the same, but it doesn't mean it's not kind of cool artistically.
The original Syndicate was not a RTS it was a TPS, a third-person shooter. You manually controlled each of the dudes or you could have three other friends join you.
Also the original Syndicate was cyber-punk, thorough and thorough. The new Syndicate is like Deus Ex: Human Revolution it's cyber-noir...there is a difference for those of us who actually played the ori...
@one2thr
You obviously don't keep up with the news my friend...just search out Shadowgun: THD for the Tegra quad-core tablets...it has more physics, dynamic lighting and environmental destruction than most Xbox 360 games. It's no lie it's just how technology progresses.
How'd this get approved with the piss-poor editing and grammatical errors?
Fail moderators.
LOL
I laugh at these people because it's like really...we have mobile phones with console-quality graphics and you're still calling these six year old dinosaurs "next-gen"? Pfft...I guess something like ENB Crysis would blow their brains out of their nose as a pink smoothie if they ever saw it.
Uh no, RAGE on PC was held back by the crappy DVD9 limitations of the Xbox 360, hence why they said they didn't have an HD texture solution for PC gamers because all the source textures were scaled down for the Xbox 360.
There's nothing "budgetary" about down-sampling to accomodate old hardware.
Lol I have 5770s Xfired and they can run all the current games maxed out. IT IS a generational gap just based on what I'm seeing and playing.
Also, GTA IV IceEnhanced and Skyrim ENB are literally a generation above anything on today's consoles and it doesn't require a $2,000 computer.
Such a fail comment.
Do some research first, man.
First Xbox was a money pit for MS, they established some market share value but they LOST billions on the original Xbox because they sold it at a lost and had to pay royalties to Nvidia.
Xbox 360 is a money maker for MS and it's posting profits every quarter, so is Kinect. Doesn't matter if core gamers don't like what MS is doing they don't care. They'll keep pumping out J...
How does letting Nintendo and MS get a head start help Sony profit?
We all know that MS IS going to announce something at E3, it's the very reason they said they WOULD NOT announce anything at CES and that they would drop out of the CES keynote speeches moving forward.
I think MS will announce the Xbox 720 at E3 for a holiday 2013 release at the latest and Sony will hint at a PS4 just to stay competitive.
Nintendo, regardless, owns Holida...
I thought he was the guy at Burger Shot?
So you honestly think MS is gonna let Nintendo take ALL the core gamers for an entire 2012 and 2013 holiday season?
You're obviously just a gamer because your comment doesn't reek enough of greed logic.
Dear PC Authority please stop.
Razer is making a mobile device for core gamers. I'm not going to complain.
EDIT: And yes, I agree that those anomolies on the side look horrendous but they did mention that it's a concept design and may change before it releases. If they can just fix those hotdogs hanging off the edges it'll be fine.
Haha, you could have just said the Destructoid Douche, or the guy who would prefer if Nathan Drake was gay, or the guy who doesn't mind video games about raping women, etc., etc., etc.
It depends on the game...most ported games to PC have better gamepad support than they do mouse and keyboard support (i.e., Borderlands, BioShock, Dead Space, Resident Evil 5, Bulletstorm, etc., etc.,)
Heck you didn't even get an inventory screen with BioShock, just the radial menu which was a pain to use with the KB + Mouse.
If you're playing console ports on PC in multiplayer then it's fair game considering how crappy the ports are for PC (espe...
GTA III worked fine for you? Really? Man that was atrocious but I guess it just depends on what you consider "fine" for a tablet. I like precision control schemes.
The analogs on the Razer tablet reminds me of the PS Vita...they're making a mobile device with core gamers in mind who like precision gaming. I guess, again, it just depends on what you're looking for out of a control scheme. They just need to buckle those analog sticks tighter and closer to the...
I wonder how this will affect the Wii U this fall?
