Your logic fails.
If you hate Hollywood movies/TV inspired games then Duke Nukem Forever would be to your liking since it's sort of the opposite of L.A. Noire (one is puzzle solving and investigation and the other is all run and gun and no brains).
2K literally has two polar opposite games for gamers but apparently that's not enough to satisfy this generation...it needs Michael Bay set pieces and Hans Zimmer theme songs, too.
They're in bed with Activision. In the words of Mr. Gecko, "greed is good".
They'll continue to milk gamers who aren't smart enough to play better games.
It's been changed now. You can still get cursed items but the blessing protection to prevent them from being cursed is now free.
Only an idiot would fail to stock up on the blessing charm so now if you get cursed it's entirely your fault. lol
I stopped playing mainly because the PvP got kind of ridiculous and it's now like a gang warfare on Allods...if you don't join a strong gang you'll get raped into oblivion.
Hilarious man. Bubble for you.
This game is still fun today. I loved this and The Punisher & Nick Fury...man, those were the good 'ole days.
is one of the few companies actually doing something different.
Most of their games may be the same according to the standard of games they make, but they all offer something slightly different.
It's definitely more than what I can say about half the titles EA and Activision churn out, which are all rip-offs and clones of each other (with the exception of maybe Mirror's Edge, The Sims and Dead Space).
Macros for the win...
Too bad you can't macro your way to victory in the non-targeting MMOs.
Cool, now if only this is a REAL console and not some 2.0 handheld crap or some other fluke.
It would be nice to see Nintendo actually joint he next generation race.
Oh...doesn't look like Call of Duty: Blops made the list. Hm, I wonder why?
/sarcasm
Yeah because American and Euro studios have managed to make a game on par with the quality that Kojima and crew churned out with Metal Gear Solid 4.
/Sarcasm
I think you make a perfect argument. I noticed the same thing about the way games are promoted on other sites...if it's not some big fancy shooter or high-budget project from a well known studio it gets pushed off to the side.
The Japanese studio conundrum is the same as the indie community conundrum. We have companies like Frictional Games and Zero Point who are doing something different within popular genres but they get NO support from the big sites and companies th...
A lot of Western noobs are the ones saying Japanese devs are falling by the wayside but most of the studios that closed up in the past two years were American and European studios. So what does that say about the industry?
It only sucks becuase it requires a 3MBPS connection...otherwise it sure beats putting $2k down for a high-end gaming rig.
They obviously don't own a PC.
If you compared Crysis 2 on a amped up rig to Uncharted 3 on a 1080p HDTV, Crysis 2 would eat Uncharted and poop out its pixels into millions of volumetric clouds.
I agree with Xbox360PS3andPC, he has it right. If you honestly disagree, please play Uncharted 2 and then play Crysis 1 and do the comparisons yourselves.
Gameplay wise it's no doubt Uncharted 3 will run circles around Crysis 2 (looks ...
that all the people who say they will be buying the next CoD game on day one have very few bubbles? LOL
Because the best selling system that captured an entirely isolated demographic of gamers and ushered in the new revolution of motion-controlled gaming that Sony and MS are now copying needs to abandon ship and get a new one?
Yeah right. <_<
I thought Lineage was P2P and has been around for a while, too?
But yeah, like RisingDragon said...Everquest was the first and longest running P2P 3D MMO.
I was reading through the comments here and people seem to be angry that someone else likes Kinect *gasp*
It's ridiculous how fanboy-driven N4G has become. Anyone who thinks this site hasn't become anti-M$ is obviously a blinded fanboy.
So-called gaming journalists these days really say stupid stuff.
"Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom...a title to hold us over until The Last Guardian?"
As if to say that if a game is multi-platform it's instantly a "hold me off" title until an exclusive comes along?
I'm glad when games like CoD, Borderlands, etc., out-sell the Halos and the KillZones just to prove that some games can retain a sense of originality ...
Actually I paid about $350 and it's a quad-core, ATI 4870 (2GB of video memory), 4GB RAM and can run just about every new game on high settings with 4x+ AA.
I'm set for Battlefield 3...although I would have preferred a Nvidia 560GTX.
