I'm curious, very curious as to the ratio of people who agreed with you that abortion is sick and not the same as homosexuality and the people who disagreed that it's not sick and the same as homosexuality, as well as the inverse of both proponents.
Just curious...
She's dead in my game, so no she won't be in ME3 for me. =(
Well it sure beats waiting around for lil' Jimmy to show up, R-Truth will be waiting a long time.
That's a good point, but do you think the producers would actually say that the DLC was completed before the game went gold? Wouldn't that be admitting to making the day-one DLC as a cash grab?
I'd like to believe whatever the devs tell us, but the fact that they have those little devils on their shoulder (EA) it makes it hard for me to root for BioWare in this case.
I know right?
All those idiots writing on behalf of BioWare, defending day-one DLC already has their limited edition sent to them via EA. of course they're gonna defend it.
Real gamers want to play a darn game at its fullest and at its best, that's what we pay for. We've paid for 2600 and NES games that were only maybe two hours long for $50, and we paid $70-$80 for those V-Chip Master System games that utilized 3D because we wanted to embrace the...
Ahahaha, you have to ask if they care about us?
Day-one DLC tells you how much they care about us gamers. On-disc DLC tells you how much they care about us gamers. Always-on DRM tells you how much they care about us gamers.
The devs care about us gamers because they are gamers, and us gamers care about the devs because they make the goods. The evil middle-men (pubs, shareholders, investors, etc.,) don't give a two-cent dog piss about devs or gamers and th...
After playing Metro 2033 I realized that tech means nothing in comparison to solid story pacing and intense gameplay. Metro 2033 still suffered from some of the same problems as STALKER but it was a really solid, linear experience.
I could see Doom 4 being successful following the linear path of Doom 3 but being a bit more engaging and story driven (character driven?) like Metro 2033.
For sure, though, id Software cannot just rely on name alone and engine p...
Well between GTA and CoD, BioShock would get crushed in sales.
2K would lose money if they had BioShock competing against one of their own franchises, Halo 4 and the 20 million dollar seller that is CoD.
The helicopter missions kind of got me peeved because they were so hard in GTA IV on PC. That is until I realized the game was designed for an Xbox 360 controller >_>
To be fair, that list is "light"...realistica lly every NES and 2600 game would pretty much fill up the list as the hardest levels of all time. I don't think I ever conquered one NES game...they were just too darn hard.
I know, I know, fail me.
Actually, I agree with DigitalRaptor. Very few games are worth $60 but Assassin's Creed is a game that is worth the price of entry assuming you're not buying each new game each year.
I do commend Ubisoft for mostly upgrading the series per every annual iteration, except not as much between Brotherhood and Revelations, but definitely between AC1 and AC2 and from AC2 to AC:B.
I won't say that it's good that they do an annual release each year b...
One of the shots show an open script folder with Doom 4 on it.
Unless id is now calling Dishonored Doom 4 and it involves a hell on Earth scheme, I'm pretty sure it's Doom 4.
DSO has the images with the open folders showing the id Tech 5 Engine and the Doom 4 folder screenshot.
EDIT: I'd also like to point out that the graphics are about standard fare for this gen (on console anyway), it looks like the models are straight for the...
I don't think it's true that Microsoft "didn't revolutionize" gaming when they entered the console scene.
Remember Xbox Live and DLC? It was because of Xbox Live that we now have the PSN or SEN. You don't think that revolutionized console gaming?
Dude, if I don't like what an author writes but I like the site and support the site guess what, I'm gonna write to the EIC and LET THEM KNOW.
As a consumer YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN CONTROL because THE CONSUMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
We put EA where they are not EA. It takes money to make money and we gave them our money because we liked their product.
We support developers that support the game development scene and we continue to support ...
Let's not forget what that real-money auction house is gonna start making them once D3 releases.
Yeap, poor Blizzard, they can't afford those 600 employees on a RMAH and the billions that WoW racks in...just not feasible on a billion dollar income.
Yeah um, next time don't let the EA devils whisper in your ear BioWare. Everything those little devils will tell you BioWare will result in making more money at the cost of your soul and respect from the gaming community.
Also, never announce day-one DLC that contains potential story characters or content that works as the crux to the game's story arc. It doesn't matter what anyone says that's pretty much like pissing directly in the face of gamers, laughing a...
@Septic, not for long.
-1 bub to the spam bot. Won't be long before the spam bot will be one-bubbling with all the fanboys.
I also remember a time when collector's edition meant getting something tangible as a collector's item, not a "pay 2 win" pass as has become the standard as of late.
Paying for extras like soundtracks, artbooks and collectibles (even multiplayer only DLC collectibles like skins and weapons) is fine but now we're paying extra for extra missions, side-plots and expanses on the main story arc. Nice.
Totally agreed.
There's still the XBLIG route but aren't there restrictions on how big your game can be? And there's also an annual fee for having your game on there, too, right?
Well if you're into beastiality wouldn't they call you ignorant and lacking acceptance? Why is one form of sex okay but not the other? Shouldn't acceptance of one thing be applied to all things in the same instance?
You can't preach acceptance with hypocrisy.
