That is a standard "feature" for just about every new multiplayer games at launch. Can't wait to play the game immediately at launch, accept the problems.

Playing FPS games, the single campaign mode is more important to me than the multiplayer. That is where I know the characters, drama and hopefully a decent storyline.
Multiplayer mode to me is just shooting to get points. I can care less who I am other than what weapons I have.
I can understand to some gamers, all they care is shoot and get points.
Just because the extra maps are removed from the disc and then given as free download, is it really extra content? It's great for marketing because gamers easily get excited with "free" contents thinking EA is so generous.

PS3 hard drive is cheap but there isn't a way to install FF XIII PS3 version onto the hard drive.
X360 version can be installed to the hard drive for faster loading and less wear on the drive while PS3 version has no option to install to the hard drive which is slower loading and more wear on the drive.
Fact is neither version requires hard drive installation.
Many said they don't mind about large install. Looks like none of you care about backup your PS3 hard drive. Many PS3 games now have console locked saved game and those saved game cannot be backup individually to USB storage. Backing up the entire PS3 hard drive is the only way.

The real reason why game developers cutting more contents out from the original release and later sell them as DLC is because too many gamers are very willing to pay $60 for an incomplete game and happy to spend more for the DLC. They think DLC extends the "value" of the game while they don't want to see that the game publishers are ripping them off.

While the fanboys on either PS3 or X360 console want more exclusive games, to the game publishers, it's all about able to sell more copies of the games.
Who will win, please the fanboys or more profit for the game publishers? Only 1st party games can afford to be exclusive because Microsoft and Sony need to sell more consoles and keep the fanboys happy. Game publishers, find a way to sell more copies of the games.
Somehow PS3 owners who want PS2 BC doesn't seem to understand it's all about money to Sony. Why give PS3 owners a free way to play existing PS2 games on disc if they can sell you the same PS2 again on PSN?

Bioware did say more DLC for ME2. There's no surprise that Bioware is saving the character to be released as DLC later.
Didn't they said there will be no download patches for Uncharted 2 because they can patch the server end when the game came out? Obviously the changes made to the game isn't possible without download patches.

Since almost every game today released with some kind of nasty glitch because game developers know they can patch it later, it is the reason we should not buy games immediately when they come out.
That is the only way to tell the game publishers to properly test the games before shipping.

Both companies just trying to show inaccurate online account numbers. What would Sony say if asked how there can be more PSN accounts than PS3 consoles? Probably no comment.

Personally, I have multiple PSN and Live accounts and I'm one person gaming online on both consoles.
You will need to delete the existing saved game and start from the beginning if any of the games is to support trophy.

One thing always amazes me is PC gamers act like hardware cost is nothing like they have money to burn to put the higgest hardware into the PC. For a fair comparison, how would a $300 range PC hardware compared to PS3 or X360 console on the same games? A high end PC video card along costs more than PS3 or X360 console.
