Isn't the whole idea of playing games is able to interact with the entertainment medium? Watching someone else playing the game is like watching a movie where you can't do anything. What's the point?

Only main problem with MGS4 is having to do large install on every chapter. I was trying to impressive a friend by showing scenes from each chapter in MGS4. But we have to wait for 5-10 minutes to install the game each time I loaded saved game from each chapter. His response in the end is what is up with PS3 with so many and long game installs.
My point is if MGS4 is better optimized to run directly off the Blu-ray disc like Uncharted 2, the game would be more impressive to show ...

This is why games are so buggy today because gamers can't wait to play it. So what MW2 stays broken because it continues to sell and even it's broken, gamers who already bought the game continue to play it.
The only way to force game publishers to make less buggy and fix the games fast is not buy the game.

Choosing one console to be a fanboy simply means you miss out you many other good exclusive and best cross-platform version of the games. In the end, the company, Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo wins because they have you being so loyal and you being a consumer looses. If bragging is more important than able to enjoy games made for any platform, then be a fanboy.
It doesn't matter if current model of PS3 today has BC or if you still need it. The point is current PS3 model has lost PS2 BC, SuperAudio CD and Linux/Other OS support which means it CANNOT do everything as Sony tried to advertise. I played both demos on PS3 and X360. PS3 has longer train chapter and X360 has the falling clock and shorter train chapters.
While the action is fun, I can't make any sense of what is going on other than button messing as quick as possible. Most of the time, I don't even know which enemy I'm attacking since the screen is full of stuff going on.
If the full game is like this, it's like mindless button messing at anything on the screen.
The length of the game needs to be designed for the contents. Many RPG type games are very long but they become boring because it has lake of contents other than throwing waves of enemies at you on every step you take. Adding in very difficult road blockers also isn't a way to artificially lengthen the game.

For those who are willing to pay top dollar and no resell value in their games, digital download version is great for them without having to deal with the disc or go to the local or online store to buy them.

Has anyone been able to play the divx movie downloaded from Divx site after registered VOD code from your PS3? It first downloaded a small file to activate the Divx in PS3. Then, it downloaded from the email a 922 bytes .tix file that PS3 doesn't understand how to play.
