While I agree that making the game multi platform often sacrifice the quality, but with big game publishers like Square-Enix, it's all about increasing the total copies sold and higher profit. While good exclusive games can sell very well, it's easier to ensure higher profit by going multi platform. Don't quote on amount of copies sold with good PS3 exclusives because it's harder to guarantee higher sales being exclusive than going multi platform.

A better temperature comparison is Jasper and the slim X360. Best proof on the slim X360 reliability is gaming through the summer during the hot afternoon.
Currently, it's all assumption the new slim X360 design is better.
Best Buy Gamerclub has additional $10 coupon. Some stores let you use both coupons which is $10+tax. I got mine for $12 after tax.
Depending types of arcade style racing you like, I don't like ModNation being too cartoonlish. Split/Second is too much like Full Auto. So, Blur at least is different.
With many games now drop around $20 so quickly in a month or two, what's the reason to buy the games during the release? I know special DLC for some item is often included with pre-order but does the pre-order DLC really worth $20?
My opinion is for those who don't care about spending $60-80 (Collector's Edition) at the release so that they can have every extra DLC and can say, can't wait to play it either the game turns out to be good or not.

From the look of slim X360, it looks like "possible" better cooling but it's not proven at all. I'm always amazed that gamers often assume because it's new design, it has to be more reliable.
Anyone who's rushing to buy a slim X360, the real prove of the reliability is after playing it through the hot summer months. Also, until you have been playing games for several hours in the hot summer afternoon, then you'll know if the fan can stay quiet an...
Because you don't own any of the "free" PSN games and you have to continue to be a PS+ subscriber to play the PSN games you "own".
But not everyone cares about more spending to use more PSN features.
One of the main reasons X360 gamers subscribe to Gold Live is the online multiplayer games. Everything else on Gold Live can be cool but not able to play online gaming is the main draw to Gold Live.
With free PSN, PS3 gamers already have the most wanted feature, online multiplayer. Everything on PS+ are nice but not something that is must have to enjoy playing the games.
A rumor about DLC available only for PS+ can be a main draw to subscribe PS+ but that als...
Questions I have is able to play full retail game for an hour. What if I can get through a lot of contents in the first hour such as play at the easiest difficulty and know every secret what to do?
Or, does it limit one time play through for one hour so that gamers can't keep replaying trying to get further each time in an hour?
And if it's "full" retail game, some games will have a huge download size. I will have to assume, the hour demo ha...
I like to see how well Kevin Butler can play PS3 games since he's just an actor.
True that Kevin Butler is an actor for Sony PS3. Does this guy even know how to play games or it's all acting talk and PS3 fans just love him because he's the only decent image for PS3?
At least Major Nelson is a real gamer that promotes X360 with gaming knowledge.
I'm both PS3 and X360 gamer. I enjoy watching Major Nelson but I don't like watching Kevin Butler because he's just an actor that doesn't know about gaming.
Maybe FF XIII and NFS Shift?
For any X360 gamers who use the wireless network, the old Elite must drop more than $100 to make it worth while. Or, it doesn't make sense to buy an old Elite for $200 or $250 because the 802.11n addon costs another $100.
A good old Elite price should be $150. Then, by adding 802.11n, it's really $250.
Why must there be a winner? Each company has something that some gamer likes. I play all PS3, Wii and X360 consoles. To me, no one console is the best or "winner". It's all about which game at the time that I like to play.
But I understand that we like in the world that one has to win and others have to loose even everyone has something great to bring to the table.
Biggest "improvement" is $10 to play online if you don't have the game new code.
What was the real meaning of "Collector's Edition"? Have the extra items made for the game and ALL those items remain "functional" several years later assuming you keep all the items that came in the Collector's Edition box. You can resell a 100% complete Collector's Edition set someday if you want. That made a Collector's Edition more value over the time.
Most of today's Collector's Edition games have some physical items such as an...
To test yourself on PS3 to see if you are obsessed with trophies is play the earlier games that don't have any trophies. If you can't get yourself to enjoy or willing to spend as much time playing those games, then you are more interested in playing the games for the trophies.
On X360, see if you like to play first year sports games or lame games with easy and large gamerscore achievements. If you do, then you are obsessed playing the games for the achievements and ga...
A game that is worth the real gameplay for the Platinum trophy is Heavy Rain. By playing though every possible path in the storyline, you earned all the trophies. That is what the game is all about, able to make different choices and go through different paths in the storyline. Also, none of the trophies require a lot of time.
Most games that have Platinum trophy or tough to get all the achievements, are just to ensure you are willing to spend a huge amount of time to get the...
There is no such thing as a perfect game console that does everything. Anytime a fanboy chooses only one game console, he misses out the exclusives for the other consoles. Not only the exclusives, cross platform games are often not equal quality on all the consoles. If the console of the choice happens to have the lesser quality version, then the fanboy can't choose the better quality version.
Reality is being a fanboy of a game console is a childish way for bragging that...
As good as Heavy Rain is which one of the best adventure games, the game is easy and short. After a few quick playthoughs and got the Platinum trophy, I have seen everything possible in the game and nothing left to replay. It's the quickest and least effort game to get the Platinum trophy.
The Happy Birthday trophy not unlocking glitch took more effort to get than the Platinum trophy.
Strange is the author doesn't include the cost of a PS3 console for the cost of Move but included X360 console when compared the cost of Kinect.
It gets so common for reviewers when they compare because they will intentionally leave out certain required part in favor for another console so that it looks better.
That is why just about every product comparison reviewers are bias towards one console.
I'm not speaking being a fanboy of on...
