Well at least someone is going to play it. /s
It's finally comming to mobile? /s
All jokes aside if it does indeed come out for PC that will be nice as I feel it is a more interesting game than Days Gone. Though the latter probably take more advantage of the PC as platform. Just wish Sony would focus more on their older/niche catalog to port over. Things like The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush and Puppeteer. But it's safe to say that I'm the minority.
Mario Party fans myself included are very close to Paper Mario fans. Yes, Nintendo do make new games every once in a while. But they are never exactly what we want as in they tend to deviate from the original titles too much.
So this game is actually a very nice surprise. As they appear to be going for exactly what many of us has been asking for a decade at this point. And to be honest the last thing that I want is for them to remake Mario 64 or Zelda OoT. Those games just ...
Really nice presentation. Not the first one to use this style of "pop-up book" but it's pretty well done here going by the trailer.
No thematic golf club? That is lame. /s
The Intellivision Amico is a more family friendly product that focus on being simple and inclusive while having new games or revisions of the older classics. So for someone that is not really into gaming I would say that it is a very good choice of a gift.
The VCS on the other hand is a rather bizarre product. Because while you can use it as a retro gaming console. That is really only using a fraction of its potential. And to actually use it to it fully the user need some ...
That would be true in the X360 days. But right know we don't see a new Halo shooter since 2015 and while there was Gears 4 and 5 this gen. They were three years apart from each other.
Plus they don't need to run flawless as they wouldn't be native Xbox One games.
That is actually ridiculously smart. As it will allow them to keep supporting the Xbox One playerbase without having to actually develop games for it. And at the same time it pushes GP sales to those that didn't or can't upgrade to the Series S/X console yet.
They likely changed the hardware for this release though. As the Super Mario one don't have enough flash memory to hold Links Awakening.
It's probably the worst game in the franchise and will likely lose the silly Zelda/Samus costumes for the multiplatform release.
But is nice to see it going to platforms other than Nintendo. Maybe now that can open the gates for future releases that don't try so much to focus on motion controls and gimmicks.
The one in the right corner means that the game is optimized for the Series X. It is likely to go away once they stop supporting the Xbox One.
I mean The Forgotten City was originally a mod released in 2014/2015 and the "game version" of it was announced in 2018. So it's not like they are chasing a trend here. It just happened to be this way.
Yeah, it gives much more space to the actual artwork. A very nice improvement.
They most definitely will.
The bussiness model is much more consumer friendly with a Gamepass/Netflix subscription base. And they use the Windows PC versions of the games. So while there will be some licensing isues that will limite what is available in the service. We can expect its library to grow at a much higher rate than Stadias.
People who are competitive would probably be using a wired controller though.
Pretty much my situation as well. I also escalated way down from the number of platforms that I own and play. Going from two or three per gen to only one. Mostly because the amount of time that I can dedicate to games is way down and my notion of value is also completely different - I was that kid that would buy a new console just for a game.
Who said that? Sony is always willing to pay for some exclusive deal with third party titles and indies are not different. And they are not the only ones. If you remove "Nour: Play with Your Food". This trailer might as well be "EGS Indies Montage" as every other game is also a EGS exclusive.
My french is admittedly rust, but I translated that as "we don't play with fags here at Quantic Dream". And that is basically a very shit way to tell someone to stop bitching and not exactly saying that "they don't make games for fags".
Still a terrible behavior though. No doubts about it.
Only took about 3 years and 6M sales.... But is nice that it is gonne.
Yeah, losing for TAAU is a bit rough. Not exactly the DLSS competitor that a lot of people were claming it would be. But hopefully it will improve with time.
