This is the Aya Neo running Yuzu.
And based on the Linus hands on with the SD. We can expect up to 50% better performance in general with the SD. So I would say that chances are that it will run Yuzu pretty well if the AMD drivers don't pull it back.
Not a fan of the rangers design. But I would play the heck out of a PR AAA game.
I mean there is a chance with the new players that will come with the PC, Xbox and PS versions. But honestly this is not a particular good Fatal Frame. If anything I would argue it is one of the worst games in the franchise.
I will probably be getting it again for PC because I'm a sucker for this franchise. But I would be much happier with a remaster of the first two games.
They could at least make a special edition for the west with a physical copy. Similar to the original Wii U game and the EU version.
Marketing.
Sure "eventually".
Shame we will not be able to prove it.
We can't know that can we? As Sony don't want us to test it in the first place.
The lowest spec SSD that can be tested is the one in the article. And even games like R&C that supposedly make use of the PS5's SSD performance run without issues.
Really a shame that Sony doesn't allow Gen 3 to operate on the console. It would really cool to see if a much slower SDD like the SN550 would work.
I don't think you understand what a PC is....
Such a shame that this is region locked on Steam.
Tales as a series has seen direct sequels (Destiny, Symphonia, Xillia). And had also seen games expanding on the story of a previous entry (Beseria and Eternia Online). Story DLC is indeed more rare, but it did happen before with Zestiria and the Alisha's Story.
This is a PC....
Yeah, that is what a test would prove or disprove. Assuming that the console itself would allow the use of a slower SSD and not straight up block the user. Though reading the press release it appear that there is not a system block.
I really want to see tests with slower SSDs. With R&C in particular.
It is really bizarre. Even if they are targeting the Asian market with this release where consoles are not that popular. Not porting to those devices feels like a waste.
A bit surprised by Returnal. It's not a bad number for a new franchise goingfor $70. But I was expecting at least double that amount given how well received it was and the overall buzz surrounding it.
I mean they could have one. But I don't think it's necessary for its core audience. As those already have Steam libraries in the hundreds or sometimes thousands.
To be fair. The fact that they embraced Stadia the way they did. Might help them if they ever embrace the Steam Deck. As they already have working Linux versions of a lot of their games.
But yeah. They did what they did with Stadia because of money. Same reason as to way they abandoned Steam in favor of the EGS in the first place.
I think that is kind of the point of this device. A cool oddity that you will play for a few hours and let it sit in your collection.
PC Power is not only about the hardware "power". It's about what you can do with a PC that you really can't on a console. Or that is somewhat restrict on one.
