I mean if you have one already and you want to use it as a novelty. Them for sure.
But for those looking for a dedicated emulation rig, there are far better options in the market. Like the Ryzen APUs that can give you even decent PS3 emulation. A Athlon based system that can hold up to the Wii U. And even the current Xbox Series S/X that can side load a bunch of emulators.

Nope. That is their "MSRP". But not actually their real value in the wild.

Deponia: The Complete Journey and The Pillars of Earth are both sub $2 keys while The First Tree is a bit more expensive at $3.

They are great games though. Especially Pillars of Earth.

The visual style is pretty amazing. But the gameplay look a bit slow? Definitelly keeping my eye on it.

• they want to keep games online server up that no one is playing. Like honestly when was the last time you even played it.

That is a issue that companies created for themselves by removing people ability to use private servers in most games. So I honestly don't think it is unfair to ask them to keep supporting the server or update the game to allow the use of private ones.

Real shame that they are still using Vega based graphics. Sure they are better than most of the competition, but Intel and especially Apple are catching up and fast.

Not to mention that there is a lot of space for ultra portable devices that would really benefit from a more powerful APU.

Not so sure about this source. As far as I know he only ever got that KH would come to PC as a EGS exclusive.

But it would be nice if it was true. Though we are still waiting for Persona 3 on PC that also got rumored to release way back in the P4G announcement. So I wouldn't hold my breath for a Royal release.

Yeah. I really dig this dark fantasy asthetic. And this mixture of city builder with strategy rpg is also pretty interesting.

Shame it's likely going to be stuck on Apple.

From what we know from the japanese release I would go with a solid "no". If it was like $30 or a better developed remaster, maybe. But I honestly don't think the few QoL changes and the visual upgrade is worth $50.

And the deluxe edition is another can of worms entirely.

@plmkoh

Because you read this report in a vacuum. And no public exchange company will publish a report that make them look bad. That is why you read them within the context of the previous established ones, making possible to form a picture of what is happening.

All the metrics assume that EGS will continue to charge 12% because that is the only thing that they have to offer. If they ever increase that rate their already unappealing store will be in a ev...

True if is working. But EGS report tell us that is not. Active accounts went from 61M to 56M in the wake of the GTAV giveaway. User spending on third party software is at record low $2.3 while their own games are almost double that. Growth between launch and last year was 5% in revenue but that come with a operational lost increase of 50%. And that on a year where basically everyone that deals with digital was setting records.

The thing about EGS is that as a launcher for E...

That is a bit surprising. Because while it was pretty obvious that they weren't making money with third party sales - their last earning report point out to something close to 30M (before tax) in 2020 coming from third party games, that get even lower after factoring the 23M that Epic gave away in the form of coupons - anyone would assume that their own games would still be able to foot the bill. Given that they are more than 60% of the total store revenue and contrary to third party sof...

"The majority of the market has gone f2p because that is the cost of entry and battle to the bottom that people have created by not wanting to pay for mobile games. Only big known AAA franchise can sell at cost and see good success, but even those games are still not being downloaded as much or making as much of a profit as plenty of F2P games. So we now have the F2P model, because of gamers not wanting to pay for games, and developers seeing games being highly successful and making mill...

I agree in parts. The issue with the library is not only that it lack known franchises, but the games that they do offer in the same genre are not tailored to the same public as a console/pc traditional game is. Most of the experiences are f2p and that alone already changes how games are played and the ones that are not f2p are normally also available on other devices like Kemco's RPG or Square-Enix's ports. What also really diminish the reason why anyone would pick a phone as a gamin...

I would say that the Mega Drive was still the best Sega's console because of it's amazing library that contrary to the DC didn't really lack any genre. But the Dreamcast was a amazing piece of hardware, the jump between the N64/PS1 to the DC was something else and the VMUs are still my favorite acessory.

About sales. It was the worse selling console unless you count things like the x32, Sega CD and the educational consoles. But it was pretty close to the Saturn...

Honestly I would say the only reason is because of the games. Because everything else is more or less mitigated somehow. The price of a reasonable phone can be higher than a Switch. But it is a all around device that will offer you much more than just gaming. And the physical buttons can be fixed by using one of the many telescopic controllers out in the market. They are not as slim as something like a PSP, but in comparison to a Switch? The bulkiness is pretty close.

I don't think it was released yet. The website still says pre-orders and Gamestop have a 30/04/21 release date.

But backers got their units and the reviews so far are actually not that bad. Even though it's a bit overpriced for the hardware, it's a emulation beast and it's somewhat customizable. The last that I saw people had found out what the bios password was and that allowed them to up the TDP and use faster RAM. Giving the console a nice little boost in...

They could go for literally anything? Not limited to battle as well and not limited to buffs. The fact that they meet the standard of the market instead of being a unique take on it. Is the problem.

In a way is really nice to see those new Apple Arcade titles. A lot of them do look nice and they have to potential to be a new gaming platform.

As for the game itself. I'm not gonna lie I only ever played Everybody's Golf PSP and only because it was bundled together with my console. But I remmember liking it even though was not as charming as something like Mario Golf.
