It's sad to see thing like this to happen to a good game and game series.
@Amigaengine
Actually Android is an operating system based on Linux.
Microsoft probably got very cautious after SuperDae leaked a lot of the Orbis and Durango stuff.
Well considering how niche the genre of the game is, id by fairly irrational to release it on PS4 instead of PS3.
This is one of those games that greatly benefit from solid install base which Ps4 won't have for at least couple of years.
Why stuff like this even gets approved?
And no, only thing Vita really needs is games that sell well in Japan. Handheld games market is pretty much dominated by the Japanese.
One thing I have learned about MMORPG's and RPG's general is not to get too attached to them. Second is that if the game requires you to grind countless hours just to enjoy the endgame and the grinding isn't even fun then it's not really worth my while.
There are plenty of other games out there to try and enjoy and MMORPG's come and go and everyone will loose their character some day.
Yeah.
DayZ probably did a lot to boost the visibility of Arma games in general which hopefully introduced the main game to a lot of new players.
Let's say..
Ram equals more moving space when developing games. That would probably get closest to the truth. With it you can for example store more stuff to the background (mostly content like 3D-models, textures and audio).
Many of the games stream the content from HDD or disc which is a bit slow as you still need to have it on RAM if you want to use it.
Somehow I doubt this.
EA and the others will probably see the launch as failure not because of always online DRM but because of technical difficulties.
It's pretty sad as always online DRM doesn't really benefit the customer in any way. It's purely a dog collar for the consumers to chaining us to play the way they want to.
If someone want's to mess around offline in let's say world of Warcraft. There's really no reaso...
Umm.. Actually Sony has plenty of first party studios working for them. Far more than Nintendo does.
If you have been paying any attention in the last few years, sony has been producing far more exclusive titles for their systems than Nintendo has.
//Steam provides digital rights management (DRM) for software titles, by providing "custom executable generation" for executable files that are unique for each user, but allow that user to install the software on multiple computing devices via Steam or through software backups without limitations.// -wikipedia.
a_bro was just saying that DRM provided by steam is far better than the alternatives.
Sure, they allow publishers and developers to use add...
//Anyone with an Android phone that's not using Google Music is wasting tons of memory card space.
The file itself may be 25-30mb.//
When I go to the Google Music service I get message.
"The Google Play music player is currently available in select territories."
Besides I prefer youtube, they have far more content there and plenty of songs that even spotify doesn't have.
One of the Best tracks in the series imo.
Visually pleasing and pretty fun to drive with few tough spots that separate good drivers from bad ones.
Oh you can do that!
Great!
sequels, sequels, sequels.
Sure all of those are really good series, but still..
@JeK_Porkins
Have you bought anything from GoodOldGames? They sell digital titles that you actually own after you buy them.
Their DRM free games can be stored in to any media you wish for and even shared with friends (although I'd advice against it as the games fairly cheap there anyways, and this is something worth supporting)
Depends where you live.
Many cyber criminals are located in countries simply inaccessible to the FBI or just not worth the potential trouble. E.g China.
Sure there's slight tactical advantage, but considering how SuperDaE leaked the Orbis details with most of the info being spot on, I think both of the manufacturers have pretty good idea what the other is after. (he leaked Durango info as well.)
It's like poker where suddenly the 3rd player picks the cards of the other two and throws em on the table for everyone to see.
but unlike in poker, you can't just quit the game and back your bags.
The article fails to understand that Social does not equal casual. Even hardcore gaming is getting more social day by day trough e-sports, I mean just look at LoL tournaments, Major Gaming League (MLG) and maybe google some speedruns while at it.
There's nothing casual in those, in-fact that's probably as hardcore as it gets with gaming.
Sony and Microsoft would be blind not to notice this.
It's already on Vita for my knowledge. Just not in the west.
