Actually what he means is that these games work really well with Move. So not just publishers but gamers as well.
Well yes discrimination of minorities, the game is full of it. But in a way of Normal people vs augmented people. But racist? no..
He meant broken as in "one of the levels was cut off the game and entrance removed" kind of way.
If game is truly fully complete it should not require any patches nor DLC.
Yeah, aimed to keep the meter as right as possible, and tried to pick same as what the ultimate "white knight" would answer, but often got the meter boosted to left instead.
Managed to get the true Katherine ending tough, thanks to Catherine wiki :|
As somewhat a programmer myself, It wouldn't surprise me if X360 has better developer tools than PlayStation. Microsoft seems to know what they are doing with windows developer tools. Visual studio IDE for example is most likely the best IDE I have used (haven't used that many tough).
Probably just general laziness and cutting corners.
For PC gamers it would require setup similar to this (4-players):
- PC hooked to a Widescreen TV (preferably > 28" supporting at least resolution of 1280x768@60hz)
- Multiple controllers (preferably wireless).
- Enough space for the players.
(2 players are probably comfortable with just the monitor, and need half the space)
Not many PC gamers have th...
Well considering the fact that they can't really go wrong after the mess what people call Deus Ex:IW.
Sure, the game probably won't compare to the greatness of the original but If it manages to "Reboot" the series back to life, I am more than happy.
I had enough of Cod online multiplayer with first modern warfare, but I got to respect the fact that they have provided nice split-screen options for most if not all recent call of duty games which deserves a huge thumbs up from me.
Not many other modern shooters are able to provide such local multiplayer excellence without having to rely on LAN.
This is a sad thing when it should be all about Couch vs couch multiplayer gaming this gen.
From the times I played online, it was really rare to see a good Kilik player.
Most of them where just repeating like 3 of his most exploitable/cheapest moves making the fights against him more of a sidestepping and blocking challenge rather than a fight.
Not that he was the only character to do this, Cervantes had few pretty annoying ones as well.
So I am somewhat relieved to hear this, but just slight adjustments to the moves and strength ...
I have this itchy feeling that the system requirements of Arma3 makes even just recently bought/build computers look dated.
Gotta agree with Star Ocean4 platinum, sure some of the trophies are basically just grind but considering that you need 100% of battle trophies and some of the trophies are like "beat the final super boss in under x minutes using character/weapon/etc x" which are far from easy.
Many of the most popular games nowadays are console games, so porting them to PC isn't killing PC gaming its actually keeping PC gaming alive.
without these ports there would be a lot less new PC games. For third party developers its all about getting their games to as many platforms as possible (ones that are relevant that is)
Luckily thanks to HD, and far better tech than PS2 era the PC ports are way better than 10 years a go.
Tested out the Pc version and played trough the Demo on Ps3, and I can say that the PC version is miles better.
On PC the loading times are like 5 times (5-8 seconds or so) faster and the game doesn't need a super PC to run nicely on Ultra settings.
As for gameplay, I have had more fun with first levels of Duke forever than many of the recent fps shooters. Most of them are just this bland cover based shooting from corridor to another. Duke has been fun ma...
So will this game actually be DOOM game? Doom3 was no Doom in my books. Doom is not a cover based claustrophobic shooter with additional element of flashlight tag.
Reviewer on Gamereactor.fi said they had no access to multiplayer portion of the game, so it might be the same with Eurogamer.
Which means this review consists what? 20% of the game? The multiplayer was big part of WKC and its probably even bigger part of WKC2.
Hopefully WKC2 has more quests and A LOT LESS GRIND, hell most of the time in online was spent on doing the same 2-3min quest about killing a red giant..
Well at least we still got Serious Sam, if we can't bet on Duke we might as well bet on Sam.
Been playing Arma2 a bit, its great but could use a lot of optimization for the code. The game is still really heavy to run and AI, Graphics and open world don't really do justify the requirements.
So I seriously hope they have improved the engine.
Games such as battlefield could easily do some hardcore adjustments to increase the realism and still run and look better than Arma2. But due to their more "casual" approach Arma is still really lacki...

You saying Sony doesn't have first party exclusives or franchises? They only own the most first party studios out of the three.
Plenty of great exclusive quality games there for everyone.

Define downgrade
For my understanding Uncharted, Wipeout, Littlebigplanet are all their own games for Vita and not downgrades of Ps3 titles.
MGS peace maker was still a really good game even tough MGS4 was on Ps3 and MGS3 was on Ps2 and the game had plenty of resemblance to these titles.
Well maybe after a shitload of code optimization, even with the current graphics Minecraft is rather heavy to run and I don't think dynamic shadows, or water reflections are going to help with that problem.
Thanks to the nature of the blocks being somewhat similar to pixels and basically only squares there's probably plenty of unknown tricks, algorithms etc that could make the world render a lot smoother even with advanced graphics.
