imo less mirrors edge has guns the better, these games with nearly no killing are fairly refreshing and uniq. Hopefully we will see more games like MGS4, Mirrors edge and maybe Deus ex, where you can just sneak, run, stun instead of shooting the enemys brains out.

What is this mumble about PS3 about?
Ps3 linux support is mostly for those who want to increase the media playback, browser etc etc and maybe try exploring the system a bit more. It lacks official drivers for the GPU which doesnt really allow ps3 to run modern pc games.
I am running ubuntu on my computer and I am pretty impressed that wine can run some programs pretty well. But I doubt you can play many modern games with it.
Seriously, if LBP is less than 9 what the hell do these guys think as a 10.0 game?
LBP not only revolutionalize platformer genre in a way that no1 has really done before. This included with good single player game and more levels and playtime than mangy games combined.
Based on this strickness of this rating even freaking Zelda OOT would get 8/10 or maybe even 7½/10 not to mention 6½/10 Geow2 and Resistance2

Its odd that ppl are comparing these 2 games, but guess its all about oppinnion. Geow provides high quality graphics and gameplay with typical american way with big badass main characters with big guns killing bigger monsters. This included with Epics quality of controls and probably pretty good multiplayer mode.
Resistance tryes to be more of a story about Worlds final fight for survival and is based more on things happening on the screen while keeping the graphics fairly good. ...
There's nothign wrong with trading or selling used games. People have traded items for items for thousands of years now, why should it change.
This allows both the hardcore to buy new games which again provides cash for the publisher and developers, and buying traded games allows ppl who might be uncomfortable on paying the full price a chance to play the games.

Dunno but the Ps3 problems seem to be somewhat random, I for example have only suffered trough 3 freezes and no real graphical glitches or framerate problems(well maybe some really minor but compared to oblivion this one seems to run like a charm) withing the 10 hours. But in the otherhand there are ppl who have suffered from pretty noticeable problems.
Maybe theres problem with few Ps3 units.

it seems that most of these reasons have been made by some1 unskilled or some1 who only played a game or 2.

Hating vista, I rarely even use my newer computer since my older computer runs a lot better with Ubuntu. It just doesnt go along the ways of modern standards.
Umm why would they, Ps3 is only 5m away from the X360 both are doing pretty well imo. It will be really good when the numbers get closer to each other so there will be a hell of a competition between the 2 rivals.

Played trough the game on normal and survivor. I have to admit that that the XO gamers didnt bable about this game for no reason. Its great game even now, and Ps3 version is not even a bad port. Its not only the PS3, the whole Hd console sales look very troubled. X360 and Ps3 console only seem to make some random jumps when a new big game gets relased but unlike wii, ds and psp or even Ps2 they havent gotten to the point where the sales would be steadily above 20k.
