Physical for the first few years until cheaper digital options appear. Games are always cheaper in shops when released.
And if I buy a dud game I can always trade it in and recoup some cash for my next game - Up yours DRM!

XB1 has no problems in the US. It will be every where else that it may suffer.
One thing to note is just how much love the new PS4 controller is getting. It seems to be the best one this time around. Off topic, I know but just an observation.
I hope for all XB1 users that the new controller proves as popular as the DS4 seems to be.

We are still in a recession and the 360 has always been on some kind of sale price in the UK. the £429 is almost double that price.
Also, most devices like smart phones and tablets are sleek and powerful not massively bulky. We have a lot smaller properties in the UK due to our limited land space.

Nov 5th could be spot on with PS4 coming out just before on Halloween. I can sense an October release for PS4. They will pip MS once again.
But a few weeks apart won't make any difference really.
I will use the share option primarily for single player campaigns to show off those hard boss fights or to show a mate how I beat a part of the game in my own style.
Or even just to show off my favourite games or just for keepsakes.
So putting everything behind a pay wall is really a bad call but as long as people do not complain then it will stay that way.

They have changed the title to reflect it is an issue their engine has with AMD chips even on PCs.
Reading the article reveals that the developers were doing what most software developers do and writing code not fully optimized for multi-threading.
So sloppy coding that needs to be addressed for the PS4 and then translated back to their PC version to make the game run better on AMD chips. More and more software developers need to start producing better code ...
I guess I'd rather play a game than watch others play. But the share option is cool enough - 15 mins is enough at a time.
MS blocked the viewing of many video files on the 360. I could not even watch a movie from my USB. We shall see what restrictions both have when released.
If I remember correctly GTA 4 had massively timed 360 DLC release. In fact it was so long before it came to PS3 it was almost obscene! A bit of an insult to all the PS3 fans who bought the game.
I don't like timed exclusives, DLC or preferred marketing. Just me. Yes it happens, but I don't like it!
This generation has been the best for great games. Yes, there are a lot of dud ones but also some simply amazing games. And there are still more being released this year.
Just this past week I was playing Resistance Fall of Man and almost forgot how much fun it is.
We can disagree with our choice of console buts lets celebrate the great work done by developers over the past 7 years or so!
MS are looking way beyond gamers this next gen as they showed in the reveal. They are looking to get the casual living room audience. The casual audience don't care for shooters or online gaming.
When you consider what Sony is leaving as free it makes you wonder how MS can expect to get away with it. If the large size of the box does not put people off adding it to their TV then maybe the forced subscription will.
I hope they change their mind on this one...
