XB1 dev kits have 12GB Ram. Not sure they will ship with that much. Maybe used for debugging and the such like..
Sony have said they take measured and considered decisions not snap judgement based on what MS might do.

Take it from someone who has developed software before, no matter how well you do first time around you will always be able to improve or go at things from another direction second time around.
And when you see how other developers have used a system you grow and learn your skillset to incorporate as many of the good, optimal ideas yourself.
It is exciting times for developers.
They have learnt their lessons. Start very strong and get the developers and gamers on board. Then offer more varied content and options.
MS tried to get the varied content first with the XB1 reveal. Start with games then expand the experience. Good, clear thinking..
His last comment lost all his credibility when he mentioned that whatever the management decide is fine by him.

Most TVs have 3 or 4 HDMI ports so what's the story here?
Too be honest I would be happy if they just left it for 2 months or so and give me time to play catch up with all the games they have offered in the past 6 months or so.
My backlog is getting crazy. Stop it Sony. Stop giving me games that I really want to play, please. I am already thing about a 750GB drive now that my 320GB is full.

I'm glad MS did a 180 on DRM and game activation but their intent is clear to everyone. Feel sorry for the developers but MS deserve what they get. True colours were shown before they back-tracked.
Trust takes a long time to build up but can be broken in an instant. Time will tell...
DRM and always online IS built into the system. It can be activated whenever they please. I can't see them going a whole 5-7 years of this generation before switching it on.
They will wait until they have an install base of 20-30 million at least. Let's face they did not reverse for the love of gaming or consumers. It was because it was almost dead in the water before release date. They had no choice.
We all know the real options. Let's not cry in...

I do wish MS spent as much time defining their hardware as Sony did during their reveal and also at E3. Sony were brutally honest but MS seem to be dodging bullets.
I have a feeling we won't truly know what is inside both machines until after they launch. And it will take a year or so before developers can truly start to unlock the real potential.
I loved Resistance & also TOD. I have no problems with Insomniac doing what they want and developing for MS. Isn't the PS4 all about developer freedom?

Really looking forward to a system built by developers for developers. Imagine what games we can expect when developers of all sizes have the freedom to actually develop pure games.
