Sony have pulled a master stroke with PS+.
You now get access to both PS3 & PS Vita titles for one subscription and 1GB cloud space each for game saves. (2GB Total).
I only have PS3 but have downloaded following Vita titles in past month:
* Uncharted: Golden Abyss
* Wipeout 2048
* Gravity Rush
* Lumines Electric Symphony
* MGS HD Collection (coming March 13th)

Can only comment on games I've played so:
GTA 4 and MW2.
Can't believe I fell for the hype of those two gamnes. GTA was soo boring and repetitive. At least I completed the single player of MW2 (and still did not have a clue to if there was a story or not!).
Also Crysis - massive hype because of graphics but just could not get into it at all.

Even on my PS3 I disc swap. Apart from the PSN games on my hard disc, when I play my Blu Ray games I put in a disc.
After 3 hours or so I take out the disc and switch off. The next day I put the disc in again and carry on playing. Or I change to play another game. Is this not disc swapping?
A game as big as FFXIII will be played over many weeks/months. So unless you leave your discs in your console when you switch off (bad habit) you are disc swapping.

The most amazing game you will ever play! I have just finished my first play through - awesome, awesome, awesome.
Play this game. Even if you have a Wii or XBox, play it. Forget about bias towards consoles - This is just one Brilliant game and the graphics are Amazing!
Uncharted 1 is superb, but this goes even better. I hate to be predictable but this game is as good as it gets. Everything about it is AAA - gameplay, controls, acting, graphics, multiplayer.

and for you guys in the US, just to let you know that the PS3 is the hot Xmas gift this year in the UK. I know of many kids getting a PS3 this Xmas but the XBox just does not seem in demand this time around.
Why PS3's for UK kids this Xmas?
1. New slim has caught the imagnation over here for a great price. The XBox is seen as old hat.

I must confess that I have enjoyed my short time on the Beta. I haven't noticed any real jaggies - but I haven't been looking because it's a beta. But it is a lot of fun.
I never play any games on the PC but it's good that developers max out a platform when creating new games. Keeps everyone happy (Are you listening Rockstar - next GTA)..
And now it's going to be cheaper!
I also felt MW2 was a let down (just my opinion). And was so glad to put in KZ2. What a massive difference in quality and graphics.
I bought MW2 for £26 as well. I traded it in last week and got £36 towards Uncharted 2 (£43) at HMV. (Something tells me I did the right thing.)
MW2 SP is too patchy - Great graphics (then very basic), Good action (but too intense and over too quick), Great control (but dodgy weapon re-loads), and an awful story with impressive (but not relevant) montages between stages.
But special Ops is good fun.
Have been playing Resistance 1, and the SP is way more fun than MW2. I am a very basic fps player but am really enjoying Fall of Man. So addictive. The story builds bit by bit and has a great even pace throughout ...
I was so pumped to get GTA IV after the hype & reviews. I got that one wrong! So boring after a few hours of awful car driving..
And now a short Single Player game that does not get reflected in the reviews..

I actually paid £3.50 as I had £22.50 from my Nectar Points (Reward card)!!
Guess I'm glad. SP should be a real treat, not a add-on.
We all know reviews with "GTA, Halo, COD, etc" will get top scores regardless. So don't trust the integrity of reviewers. Sad, but true.
As I only paid £3.50 for the game, I won't feel short-changed.. (you pays your money, you takes your choice).

An aside: Got email over week ago to download Motorstorm Artic Edge demo for my PSP but it is still not on PSN yet!!
My PSP 2000 is one of the best gadgets I've ever bought at a neat price (£130).
Awesome graphics that still blow me away today. UMD movies as good as dvd on a small screen.
Brilliant games that are FUN - Loco, GOW, Resistance, Daxter, etc. with some amazing games to come (GT, Motorstorm, LBP, Assassins, MGS..).
And bought 8GB card for £10 on Amazon. All that for £140!

If it was for a limited time - say 12 months, I'd appeal to Sony and then sit out the time.
But if it was for good then I would want a refund for
a) every PSN title I had bought
b) every PS3 multiplayer game that I had a game save for.
Sony has the right to defend the majority who play fair so this guy needs to respect that. But if he has spent a lot of money on games then it may prove an interesting test case...
He's right. You can watch the news on many channels. It is nearly always the same news, from the same sources but told in their own way. That's what this show is.

I dashed to HOME for the free City Apartment (one of the comments just after the topic) but it is £3.99 as usual.
Also we are now back to four HOME locations as the Announcements area seems to have gone..
It's FREE and it works. The videos are in a window but press Select to get full screen (not actually full screen but 80%). Quality is good considering it's streaming and how busy the servers are right now.
Can only get better! I dug the free photo displayer and this music video player just rocks.
Can't wait to connect PSP and try it in Remote Play. I can then watch these videos (which will look crisp on PSP screen) when the missus watches those dreadful soaps or Big ...
How much money have they lost out on (especially Xmas time) by not having cards from day 1.
Not everyone wants their c/c details online, and what about all those kids and their pocket-money? They would of made millions more. Must be a fraud issue.
I had to do the next best thing and get a pay-as-you-go Mastercard where you can only spend what you put on (uk = cashplus mastercard).
And I've spent at least £150 on games and updates!!
Sony are stealing a march over MS at the moment. And they seem to have developers really excited - even indie ones. That's gotta be good for all gamers!
