'I predict that later this year in the September – December window, Sony will release a new version of the PSVR'
Sorry buddy but this won't be happening. I've been following this topic very closely. PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan has gone on record to say PSVR2 is NOT happening this year. He said in 2020: “I think we’re more than a few minutes from the future of VR. PlayStation believes in VR. Sony believes in VR, and we definitely believe at some point in the fut...
Massive news. Star Wars would lend itself so well to an open world game and Ubisoft obviously have experience with this. There were hints of how it could work with Disney Infinity 3.0 which was aimed at younger ages but still had some great moments. Also, I personally love Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic such a great RPG that gave you a sense of the universe. Now we also know Bethesda/Machine Games is making an Indy game I hope the new Lucasfilm Games is scouting for a developer with ex...
That concept art of a new Nintendo Switch looks really good.
Preparation for when the EA contract is over?
It definitely seems like Microsoft is saving the big guns for Xbox Game Pass.
They say ‘all news is good news’.
At least Cyberpunk 2077 released! The Star Citizen is years away, the single player has almost no chance of releasing in 2021.
Wow, she’s beautiful! I hope Miles is ok with me being his new stepdad.
@MaximusPrime_ same here, i'm in Tier 3 lockdown London. I've wanted to see this for a long time so I'd rather not squander my first time with it watching a passable copy. I want to watch it in 4k, but probably Warner Bros will offer s premium rental, like Disney did with Mulan, for £25 and I'm not doing that either. It's a strange time and I look forward to a year's time when hopefully the world is in a much healthier place.
You get Wonder Woman 1984 as a lovely Christmas present!
Do Metacritic and Opencritic allow updates to review scores? The stability problems will obviously have damaged the Cyberpunk 2077 scores, though in a year I’m sure the game will better match CDPR’s original vision - but is that fair?
What happened with No Man’s Sky that underdelivered (but worked) at launch and after years from major improvements has just won a Game Award.
@Pandamobile. I haven't played this but your explanation about the world needing to have some believability regarding the police is very well said, because it's something that so many games get wrong and damages the immersion as it makes them more game-like rather than real world like. I hope this is improved by the time I play it.
@ikarodemon Hi, I'm a big Elder Scrolls fan too eager to see how RPGs will develop. What is it you are enjoying most, the immersion in the world, complex missions, something else?
As the first native Monster Hunter game for Switch this is going to do some amazing sales.
If this new game will have a number it will be a 4 as it continues the Shepard story. Andromeda was a spin off.
It's the control of the linear path that made the first game's story and gameplay so great. IF this is an RPG then it is a big departure that takes big balls because of the risk of it not delivering the same kind of experience. But if it pays off it could be brilliant. Pre-game release I like to stay on the side of cautious optimism.
That's good to see. As the market for digital downloads grows it would be good if for big games with plenty of lore, like RPGs, there is an option to buy a more substantial manual.
Is it deliberate choice that he's wearing Threepwood's coat?
It is a crowded window, but games sell more copies when available for a new console. So whilst it may seem that Ubisoft is cannibalising their own sales by releasing AC: Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion and Immortals Fenyx Rising in the same window. They have done this deliberately to capitalise on the launch of the PS5 and Series X.
The Super Mario 64 rerelease included in Super Mario 3D Allstars provides the best clues on what Nintendo will do for a Zelda Ocarina of Time rerelease.
