Rockstar ‘thanked the author’? It’s been a problem for years and this one enthusiast significantly improved the loading of the game that’s made over a billion in profit. Rockstar should give him a financial reward.
To clarify: maybe it’s because of nostalgia but the original Xbox (1) is definitely my favourite Xbox.
I didn’t get one at launch, but after a mate of mine bought it with Halo and my group of friends had some great split-screen multiplayer games I got one! It was a bit strange at the time because it came from the company that made Windows! But it was exciting because it was, compare to other consoles, more powerful and it kind of blended PC gaming in a console unit. Maybe it’s because of nostalgia but the original Xbox (1) is definitely my favourite.
I love it forever.
Great article showing how the track began and was developed. Also, the whole Astro’s Playroom album is now on Spotify.
The headline is accidentally clickbait because it is a journalistic convention that when you write a person or company name followed by a colon: then what is written after the colon is the paraphrasing of what the person said, and neither Microsoft or Bethesda said anything about specific games being exclusive. Let me give you an example: 'PlayStation CEO: Space Invaders is brilliant!' Reading the article you would find that Jim Ryan was asked what he thought of Space Invaders and he ...
duplicate.
Respect.
I didn't know that Japan censors horror.
@BlackDoomAx - That's what I said!
Ubisoft can see the empty gap left by Fortnite being removed from iOS and Android.
I rarely buy digital movies, but if I do I get them from the Apple store because of its financial stability I believe it has the best chance of being around the longest.
Sony is doing this because it has seen in a shift from rental and purchasing of content to the use of subscription TV. What with the news that Paramount has jumped into the streaming game I wonder if Sony will do the same to offer its Columbia movies and TV.
It sounds like Microsoft has got a bargain that will pay for itself in no time.
@LostinthePanic One suggestion I read is that Square Enix may offer a paid upgrade route. But honestly, I will continue playing it next week.
Look, Final Fantasy VII is an awesome premium game so it's great to have it included with PS Plus in March (I haven't finished it yet but plan to now.)
Square Enix want to maximise sales. Yes, it is shortsighted of Square Enix to not allow an upgrade because I don't think people who never bought it, then get it free will go on to buy the PS5 edition. However, there definitely would be a percentage of people who enjoyed FF7R as part of PS Plus who would have gon...
Phil didn’t think the new consoles needed an update because of his belief that Xbox Series X should be the same as Xbox One. But I suspect he got caught off guard at the positive reaction to the new PS5 interface with Digital Foundry praising it for being 4K. Sure most people don’t notice but it is something I think we will see soon on Series X.
Sony just dropping all kinds of news today!
There is a clear upgrade to the character models and the 3D objects in front as they are all sharper, but with the backgrounds i can’t see much difference.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said: "There was an argument just a couple of years ago, not around here, not in this shop, but in some of our competitors' offices, that single-player is dead, that it's all about multiplayer. We didn't believe that I said specifically and publicly that we didn't believe that, our labels don't believe that".
Well, that's all very well but a massive 'world' was created for GTA V but no single-player DLC ...
Incredible. Besides FF7R, Ghost of Tsushima and Resident Evil 3 the top twenty is owned by Nintendo Switch.
The Last of Us part II must not have resonated there as its at 25.
I'm trying to work out reasons why there is such a massive difference from the West especially when the PS4 has sold many units there. Maybe the population has moved on to Switch which is the more recent console, and the portable aspect is very desirable there too. But maybe it's jus...
@Nitrowolf2 That's great!
