I'll give you news! It's not coming out this year.

I'm sure I heard something from a preview that the devs were making their own Zelda BOTW type game which means the game world is specifically designed to be open for the player to explore. But I haven't played it so if it's empty then yes that undermines it all.

Likewise, I believe there is a problem with reviewers who rush through games they don't want to play so don't have the same response to it as the average gamer but can't say if that's the...

A great move. Apple stores sell third-party products that are useful or desirable to its customers and the DualSense is both, a premium alternative to the MFi controllers.

@bnet Tim Sweeney is the CEO of Epic and he said finances were an issue.

“2011's Gears of War 3 cost "about four or five times more" to make than Gears of War did in 2006. According to Sweeney, the way Epic Games was going, the fourth game would have boasted a more than $100 million budget. Making a profit off the project would have required the game to be a major success. "Anything less could put us out of business," Sweeney said.”

Epic sold the IP for Gears of War to Microsoft because at the time it didn't have enough money to develop the game independently with the triple-A budget it deserved. It's funny to think that if it had kept it, the Fortnite profits would have been more than enough to make top quality sequels.

Absolutely incredible sales numbers.

Yes it's a cash-in, but I will be getting this. No open world feels more alive than GTA's.

I don’t gamble and I don’t watch esports but there are calculated predictions that esports will overtake physical sports in popularity which many people love to bet on. So it’s natural that gambling could be a growth area too.

Whatever the gaming industry is like now in ten years time it will have evolved for better or worse so the console manufacturers have to anticipate changes and be ready for them.

I can predict there will be certain websites and YouT...

@BlaqMagiq1 I get that a stock photo was used wasn't it actually supposed to be Tali before she changed/under the mask (I can't remember the story exactly it's been such a long time.).

The PS5's Kraken compression definitely seems a good choice for inclusion.

I hope PilotWings is one of them.

You might want to do some more updated research before making a comment like that. Did you know Nate’s brother was originally going to betray him?

Amy Hennig should’ve been allowed to finish her story.

The discussion about a new PS5 model refers to Sony sourcing more readily available components so it can produce more console units to sell - don’t expect a PS5 Pro or even a new chassis design in 2022.

I have to give credit to Ali Hader at Twisted Voxel for being first multiple times on disseminating the court documents in the Epic vs Apple case and putting them out into a story, good stuff.

The Stardew Valley creator Concerned Ape says he's fine with others making games that are inspired by his game but he's concerned about whether the assets from Super Zoo Story were taken from his game. IF the graphic files aren't taken from Stardew Valley (i'm sure close examination could be use to compare) then there won't be much he can do legally because games are allowed to imitate other games. The only grounds he would have to bring a legal case is if the publisher of...

In this review, Microsoft criticises TLOU1 gameplay it said it 'gave players little freedom of choice in the moment to moment gameplay.' This is valid, however I would say this is more of a criticism of the linear story-driven genre, and the developer's tight controls on narrative and gameplay is what made the first game so successful. The problem is that whilst open world game's give more 'freedom' it doesn't necessarily make them 'better'.

@DOMination- Hey fella, if you are happy with the product EA showed in the trailer that's fine, what anybody else is thinking shouldn't affect your experience. Video games are a legitimate creative medium and many people also care about the artistic aspects and critically discuss all aspects of them just like they do with books and movies.

The last trailer showed technical improvements with higher resolutions and textures but disappointing the lighting direction of the original games had been changed so the mood conveyed was different and lost a bit of the atmosphere. I hope this is a switch back.
