It seems weird as South Korea is a modern, affluent democratic society open to western culture. So I read the story and it says this has come about because Microsoft now requires an Xbox Live login to play the game where there a requirement to be 19. It says the government has criticised MS for not making adjustments
“The regulation was first put into action all the way back in 2011, but it hasn't been an issue until December 2020 because Microsoft now requires an Xbox ...
It shows that PC gamers on Steam are preferring to buy these higher quality Xbox games rather than pay a subscription.
This wackiness, whatever it turns out to be, is a fun antidote to all the doom and gloom.
Maybe this will be first on Sony’s approved list! I’ve rented some games and could do with being able to install them all without juggling space.
I watched while the whole internet went crazy over this, and watched a bit of Yong Yea and MBG. and to be honest it’s been a bit of fun and I’ve been entertained and that’s been really nice considering a lot of gaming stuff can be negative.. It would be great if turns into something big wouldn’t it?!
It's been delayed until 2022... at the earliest.

@PertySlick. Hi. I do get what your saying! Many people have a strong preference for the features of one particular platform, ie, maybe somebody likes the Achievements tracking on Xbox or prefers the Share Play and game streaming features on PlayStation. But ultimately, I think for many the most important factor is the games. If you look at the Nintendo Switch by comparison to the PS4 and Xbox One it is a less powerful console and the network features are limited, although its portability is ...
Exclusives are a part of the industry and they help distinguish a platform.
But funny isn't it the amount of articles and video content last year about the Spider-Man skin being exclusive to the PS4 version of Avengers being 'anti-consumer,' yet nothing said about a game that was originally intended to be multiplatform!
There's nothing wrong with exclusives, but if you're going to criticise them at least be consistent with your views ...
Okay, it wasn't a classic E3 but after last year when it felt the whole world had shut down it was good to see the industry still there and telling us there's more to come. Of course how publishers manufacturers has changed with the growth of direct marketing, but there are some relevant reasons to have a mid-year show, it increases brand awareness for games and it allows hype to build in time for the Christmas season. Next year, I'm hopeful there will be some live conferences wit...
A cop simulator is rich with gameplay ideas; besides car chases, shootouts, conversations, stopping robberies, there's lots of stuff that would be so much fun if done well. But with all these sim games it does make me think everything could be rolled in GTA VI. I'm going to avoid making a Polygon comment about this... if Police Simulator is good i'd play it.
This article reminds me of a line from one of the greatest games ever 'When there's only one candidate, there's only one choice'! Microsoft's press event was a strong show in comparison to last year, although not epic it was the best all-round. Third party publishers have never traditionally been in the running for 'winning E3' simply because they don't have as many games or as a diverse a range. Although, ironically, I think Bethesda may have 'won' a ...
DOH! Thank you guys. In the fourth par I said the SixAxis was replaced by the DualSense 3 - of course that is meant to be the DualShock 3.
@Orchard. I never thought of that but will definitely give it a go as it's a great way to monetise all my scalped units.
If any PS4 owners want to know what it feels like to play classic PlayStation hit Knack on a PS5 via back compatibility streamed with Share Play to their console then send me an email at quidsRmine@lycos.com.
I’m happy to hear you enjoyed it, thank you Popsicle!
I've read so much about Outer Wilds but this enthusiastic commentary really makes me want to give it a go.
WOW! The word doesn’t do her justice.
If I was in charge of Nintendo I’d stop making boring family-friendly Zelda and Mario games and focus on hentai visual novels.
If I was in charge of Sony I would move exclusively into making pinball games based on Sony IP starting with an Uncharted pinball machine, based not on the video games but the upcoming Tom Holland movie.
If I was Microsoft I would maintain the same level of investment in first party games that has been invested over the past decad...
@TheKingKratos. The person who sent that disgusting tweet to Alanah Pearce is nasty but he said nothing about gamers. Why are you saying ‘gamers’ in speech marks? That is the political crap people do on ResetEra to ‘prove’ they are moral and wise. Just because a person makes a show about hating the word’ gamers’ doesn’t mean they’re good - in life I’ve found that the people who do that are anything but.
The stupid salaried video games media they whip up a frenzy with articles where they all copy the same editorial line that Sony is 'disgusting', 'a liar', that it 'betrayed gamers', etc. They do this for a reason - IT DRIVES CLICKS. Then you get the stupid situation that happened with CD Projekt who received death threats for delaying Cyberpunk 2077.
Just look at the articles that have been posted on N4G in the past couple of days, one editor from a...
@1nsomniac. I haven't played it but of course I'm aware about the bugs and poor optimisation but hoped that if/when they're all resolved Cyberpunk 2077 would be the game that was promised. I have read positive forum comments about the story and world, but you're saying the game itself is basic / not good?
