@U5megs this is really positive news for PS5 Pro owners as they now get a free upgrade that gives Cyberpunk 2077 a phenomenal graphics boost and with the DualSense features makes it the best all round version ever.
There’s no need to hate on people getting something good, Why not celebrate the PlayStation community as they are all so happy. Isn’t that nice to see!

There's been some revisionism discourse about Starfield that when it was first released its reviews suffered from the 'Xbox tax,' the perceived negative coverage of it by the games media and public angry that it was not getting a release on PlayStation. And now that it is being released on PS5 is the reason so many on enthusiastic about it - however, that's not exactly what happened is it!

No one is flexing - not everything has to be about the format wars! PS5 didn't have any major first-party releases last years besides Ghost of Yotei - but of course it still had a wide assortment of other game releases. Now that the Xbox Showcase is a third party showcase, it means the games shown, the previews and the releases can now be enjoyed...

It’s factually correct to say ‘PS5 outsells Switch 2’ meaning it is editorially sound, therefore it’s not clickbait. Even if the difference is slight. Switch 1 and Switch 2 combined outsold PS5 but that’s not so easy to explain in a headline. Writing that ‘Switch consoles’ outsold everything, whilst also factually correct, is more likely to receive criticism for obfuscation.

The Xbox mode is so longtime loyal Xbox players maintain access to the game libraries they invested in. Of course it means for new releases the PC mode will likely lead with games configured to work optimally on the Helix profile. 🧬

Just before it was revealed to be cancelled, there were leaks saying it was due to be released. As trophies normally show up on the PSN backen when a game is complete and about to release - this leads me to wonder if the game WAS complete but Ubisoft pulled the plug because it felt the quality was too mediocre.
